To TH8s how many war stars have you made (War Hero)?

And I found dragons againt TH8 has still worked pretty well for me, although I am sometimes using other attacks, dependent on teh base.

Actually I think it doesn't matter if it's new stars or stars already won.

I definitely does matter.

I have checked my count before and after wars, and it has only gone up by 5 when I 3 starred both attacks, but the secnod was on a base that already had 1 star taken.

Yeah, the count is for new stars won, but there must have been some glitches, I'm pretty sure I got some extra stars

I have only 187 war stars. I should have much more, but since the update, I have been very lackluster in war for some reason.

Getting war stars as a townhall 8 is about the easiest thing to do. For a time you could three star any base layout with max dragons as a townhall 8 versus a townhall 8. War stars are usually a bigger indicator of how many wars you have been in as opposed to how good you are.

3 starring max TH8 with level 3 dragon? victim must have poorest design :/

Our clan mate has been TH for more than year now, he only plays for war and he has max TH8 with 650-680 war stars.
