There are 23 million Clash players, I would guess about 1 million at most are in Masters 1. Most of the top players are active on the forums, so reaching these players isn't too much of a problem, it just requires people frequently replying to this thread.

First, I suspect it is closer to 100K in Masters 1 than to 1 million.

Second, there are only a few hundred people active on these forums, out of those 23 million. So it is hardly likely to include "most of the top players".

It certainly isn't going to come close to including most of the players in Maters 1, even if it is only 100K players.

For it to work everyone would have to break their own shield as many times as they snipe another TH. And we all know that once you snipe one TH the temptation to stay online and snipe one more will be too great to resist. The well will quickly dry out

Do you remember the barracks boost at christmas? You couldn't find anyone because everyone was either shielded, or online.
If everyone did this... Everyone would be shielded except those online. You would get 24 hours in before hour long clouds started kicking in.

Exactly. THere's currently a large problem with players who are higher-up with how long match-making takes, however, when more and more people join Legend's league, the problem will sort itself and there should technically be no more 'hour-long' clouds. What we don't want is for as soon as that problem is fixed, we have to worry about Master's league too.

Hi,

There is already a huge part of the players that have their th outside. When there is a maintenance break I get 3-4 snipes back to back in champ III if I attack immediately.

They just get a shield very fast so you can't attack them anymore.

If everybody put their th outside then there would be nobody to attack and supercell would surely change the system as the game would get super boring for everybody.

They cant stay online forever! When you're TH sniping its easy to snipe a few, log out, come back in a bit and snipe more. Theres lots of shield breaking while sniping because trophies come too easy!

Yeah I guess this would work if lots of people participated, but if people don't break their shields there will be alot of clouds not to mention everyone would be online

Only problem with this statement is that realistically not everyone is gonna leave their TH out. I'm a masters TH sniper and on average I get 1 snipe every 5 mins (varies by time of day)

If twice as many ppl put their TH out then I'd get twice as many snipes, and twice as much loot. There will always be plenty of ppl who refuse to put their TH out, so there can never be enough exposed THs imo . If you want to storage raid then drop to crystal/gold

Every player can onpy be attacked every 12 hours as long as he does not go offline during attacks, what nobody does at higher th levels. You can magically create unshielded bases and everybody does 100 th snipes a day. What happens with most ths outside is that you still get your 2 th snipes a day (for the average attacker) and all bases get cheap shielded and you get no chance of getting real loot. All the farming bases and remaining bases with much loot get shielded why the worst ♥♥♥♥ is shown to everybody. You are nexting through tons of bases until a new base enters the queue.

If you want to improve loot, trap your th like hell to send all the th snipers into hell. Then everybody will get good storage raids.
After the matchmaking update loot got a lot bett3r for th10, because the th6s and th7s cant shield my th9s any more. If the th8s and rushed th9s, loot will be even better.

1. You can only reach the few % of clash players who visit the forum in English.

2. Not all culture values fairplay as a virtue, except those hailing from societies subscribing to the western ethical tradition. In a lot of cultures that I had the fortune or misfortune to live amongst, winning at all cost or getting rich at all cost is a virtue, and reciprocating fairplay by putting one's TH outside while at liberty to pick off everyone else will be seen as stupidity.

3. From an economic perspective, without any possible way of sanctioning those who dont follows (you cannot exclude them from picking off your exposed TH), putting TH outside will be a strongly dominated strategy. Most of the time people will realise they will be better off not following it all the time (for example, pushing)

If you want to snipe so badly come to 3800-4100. Plenty of snipes. I speak from experience.
