if this is true something is wrong my weight would be 66k if i go by loot offered as a near max th9 bk29 aq 30 n 15 lavas left but on other clan their highest th9 with lvl 15 king lvl 11 queen with weaker troops then me is offering 69k he has not even all legos. hes #5 in hes clan im #4 in mine (im matched against a th10 like always).
in responce to grim i did our gold storages *4 i could not check while under attack since i was only attacked by th10s n they have a penalty worked fine for last war maybe being rank 5 clan and they rank 6 has something to do why its off by 3k works fine everywhere else.

Where did you get this figure? Was it from the gold storages or from the amount of gold seen when you were under attack. Who attacked you? (what Townhall level).

You can work out war weight by checking your gold storages in war battle day. See how much is in each storage then multiply that by four (if all four storages are maxed level, if else, add them together) and then you should have a figure between 20,000 and 100,000. Add 1000 and then divide the value by 1000 meaning you will end up with double figures.

If this is true, then it would be possible to get the war weight of every upgrade. I have seen many times that crossbows and inferno towers have a heavy war weight, but it always seemed a bit speculative. (I bet Hive has already done this and is sitting on it ) This would be helpful to those people looking to keep their war weight down.

It's a fair point that someone can leapfrog based on prep day upgrades. But if the amount of loot offered depends on defense only, why is everyone calling it war weight? War weight is whatever weight SC gives to bases when matching clans to each other using their war matchmaking algorithm. I don't think anyone has cracked that, and it takes both offense and defense into account. You can get some sense of your offense weight by seeing what bases SC recommends you attack. And as I said above, the available gold is a fairly good substitute for clans trying to set up a particular match, but that's largely because their offense abilities are likely to be similar.

97.5 here ... royals are only lv30 and partial zaps. Only other thing I can think of not max is my air sweeper which has one lv left and a few de spells.

Wow, this is really cool. I never knew it was possible to check your exact war weight that way. However my war weight is 64 as a pretty new TH9 with X-Bows

Not really. Even at the start, taht just seems to be a fixed rank below yours, and then once attacks start happening, it switches to only unstarred bases.
