    Pushing vs Farming

I've always enjoyed farming more than pushing. But recently I've wanted to push to champs. The highest I've been is masters 1 purely to check out loot. Some of my clan are interested in a trophy push but there are a lot against it. I'm not sure I have the motivation to stop farming and climb to champs (from low crystal). Would a mid-range th10 survive and make a profit in champs?

    Thanks in advance.

If you have strong defenses I can't see why not. Lv2 inferno, Lv3 Xbows that sort of thing

My defences are pretty decent. Last time I pushed I was a pretty early stage th10 but now I've levelled everything up. I do need to create a pushing base.

What are the benefits of pushing to champs other than the 2k gems?

Pretty much just league bonus I think. I only climb for the gems, the rest of the time I'm in low-Crystal.
I expect you'll see some rich bases but behind strong defenses

I'm a coleader of my clan which I started up with a friend and recently it's been increasingly difficult to recruit members. We've been stuck at 30 odd for the last couple of months. We recently reached level 5 and thought it would attract more members but it's not helped our cause. I feel a clan trophy push would help us get to 45 odd members for larger wars as currently only 15-18 people opt in for war.

On the other hand, pushing feels like a waste of time to me when I could carry on farming, especially during this juicy 1 gem boost session.

Yeah I can see how people could be attracted to your Champs badges, might be worth a shot. As much as being a Lv5 clan is a good achievement and a huge draw, it's not as special as it was a couple of months ago. Even sucky but active clans are Lv5 now, or close, such as my own.
My personal plan is to farm until max defenses and then push if I feel like it. Pushing should be easier with the strongest defenses and no builders working

That was my plan too but I still have a long way to maxing out my defences. I am making great progress atm which makes me feel like it's an even worse idea to push now.

The challenge more than anything, loot bonus is good; although you could debate whether that is better then farming lower leagues where you don't need to rely on heroes and dead bases can be found more often.

A mid range TH10 should survive there though, especially with an exposed hall. Many will just take that for the bonus and leave.

I'm pushing and farming at the same time in masters-I.
