Alki Ascending, brand-new clan, seeking members to go to war
My primary clan, Dragons of Alki, recently reached level 7, and has been having to turn away strong candidates for membership because it is full. So, I have taken the opportunity to start a secondary clan, Alki Ascending. My hope is to build it into a mid-level war clan; the leader, King Adam, is a mid-TH8.
I'd like to get wars rolling as soon as possible to start the clan perks climb. I expect it to be tough sledding to get a brand-new clan off the ground, but I do know something about leading a war clan, as my main account is the leader of Dragons of Alki.
At this point, all are welcome! If you enjoy getting in on the ground floor and helping to build a clan, come on in!
We got our first war going, 10 v 10. I took care of my business, 3-starring the top 2 enemy bases. Some mini-accounts from the big clan have gotten 3* attacks, as well. Not so much luck with low-levels recruited from global, unfortunately. I brought a TH9 down from the big clan to donate troops, but people attacked with no or poor CC troops, didn't ask for any advice ahead of time, etc. Well, I remember when I was a noob, too. Anyway, we've still got a good shot at winning the war, and I'll start another one after if the members are there. Would love for some low- to mid-level forumers to join up.
We're undefeated with 4 wins and 1 tie, and have reached clan level 2. We're currently warring 30 v 30, so the numbers have mounted quickly. However, a lot of our low-level members are from global, and clearly have no idea how to war and little inclination to learn.
I'd like to add TH5+ members who are enthusiastic about war and already know the basics: get good troops in your clan castle, build the best army you can, lure and dispose of the enemy cc troops first, etc.
We have solid TH8 troop support, with visiting TH9 donors from Dragons of Alki to provide the good stuff like max hogs, max balloons, etc. for war attacks. Come check us out!
