How many people have Maxed their Heroes in th9 before walls?

I've noticed most of the times a th9 "should I upgrade to th10" thread the biggest thing holding them back have been heroes, personally I think it's because people focus too much on Farming gold/eli instead of Farming dark.

I finished my heroes with 18 lavas left this is mostly just to see others who have done it this way without gemming upgrade times maybe also say what league you did your farming and your composition I did crystal3/2 and BAMGI.

i am planning on focusing on dark elixir for this reason
i am loot bonus farming in master 3
i might finish heroes first
if i do i will just get town hall 10

Person A: can farm 10 bananas, or 5 apples a day.
Person B: can farm 5 bananas, or 10 apples a day.

Say they wanted 10 of each. What a person with common sense would do is farm what they are good at, and then trade some of their surplus for the other, and it would take two days.

What you would do is try to do it all by yourself and instead take 3 days. Tell me why you would do that and make it needlessly longer.

For those who don't get it, person a is th9, and person b is th10. Apples are de, and bananas are gold/elix.

Loonion is good for M3+. However as stated above GiBAM is cost conservative and you'll get into the core easily.

thats a very blanket statement there is no wrong or right way to do it th9 is the point where maxers take 2 routes the longer end no heroes th10 walls n hereos grind, or max heroes in th9 with walls and have max heroes to help finish your walls in th10 as a max th9 needs a MAXIMUM 140 days in th10 to max heroes to 40 assuming they start day one on it, neither "Wastes" time as you put it i would argue focusing on hereos more is more befinitial rather then wasteful because hereos get you walls walls cant get you heroes with that said if you ever reach a point where you can't spend your de (maxed heroes) and have a lot of walls left or you finish your walls and have heroes under lvl 25 then its best to move on it all depends on play style and what you want out of your end th10 experience.

this was more so i could see who else in the community was/had prioritizing/prioritized heroes and finished before walls/right along with walls not to debate whether maxing heroes in th9 is worth it or not(theres enough threads on that already).

I believe I finished lavas when my heroes were about 25/28

I gemmed time on heroes for war purposes.

I believe it took me almost another month and a half to finish so I was sitting on max storages for that time period, which I didn't mind.

Usually id put all my storages in the corner and let a lucky person raid it like once a week or so.


I was in no rush to get to th10 as I was already two starring th10s in wars with my army comp and high level heroes. I said to myself this is a marathon not a sprint and that th10 was not going anywhere, and what do you know- th10 was still here waiting for me.

I did my last lava a day before I put my king down for his last upgrade

Without gems getting 30/30 heroes is a fixed amount of time. Getting 250 lavas is completely dependent on how much you farm. That's why most people finish lavas before 30/30.

I'm two months into th9 and I've maxed all elixir buildings (only have jump spell left in lab after my healing spell finishes) and I've got all new defenses to th8 level apart from my tesla (constantly upgrading). My king is currently going to level 13 and my queen is level 12 and I've only just started using GiBarch in Gold2. I'm no way near maxing my th9 defences and yet I have only 90 level 8 walls left before I start my level 10s. I know this may not entirely relate to this thread but should I stop farming walls and solely focus on dark elixir? My name is James and I'm in the clan MUNCHY'S #2

you should focus on getting dark elixer i.e coring for the de storage rather then dead bases, try in c3 or higher if you like you will still get gold/eli for walls just not as much as in gold 2 but you will get a lot more dark elixer so you can keep both heroes down once you get the heroes you want if walls still need some work drop back down to gold2 with your new heroes and finish them.
