I see this a lot on the forums - IMO farming doesn't just involve looking for dead bases

If you're prioritising DE and being efficient, then a lot of the time you have to be able to core bases with cheap army comps, which isn't always easy. That's why I'm more impressed by a high HH number, than a high GG or EE, and why I think guys like Ash/Eternal625 "have farming skills".

I'm a good hybrid. War 2-3 times a week. Mostly 2 times, and in the 6 min im not earning stars im farming. I typically earn 5-6 stars in war. Mostly 6 stars. Just about maxed th8 in about 8-9 months of play (2-3 months of inactivity).

Farmer on my main, warring on my alt. Still trying to get better at wars though because sometimes the fail is strong with me, and it's beyond frustrating when you fail your clan during a war.

I have observed there are 3 type of players in this game:
    1. The farmer who are more focusing in (non stop) farming/grinding their base/heroes which make them lacked of warring skills after they get it maxed.

    2. The warrior who are more focusing in their offence skills (warring) which make them lacked of farming skills and decent/not maxed base.

    3. Them who are neither a farmer or a warrior, who are well known with their rushed base. keke~

I fell on the 1st category which I admitted that I enjoyed war very much before I got TH9. Grinding both of heroes non stop in TH9 and opted out of the wars at most. After a while when they are about to maxed now, found out that warring has became something that mostly get on my nerves. But nonetheless, I am still one of them who want be excelled both in farming and warring.

Which type are you categorized into? And what do you think is the best way to have a fast progressing maxed base and heroes but not lacked of warring skills? So far I have been a TH9 for 7 months and 4 days.

    Thanks for your insights! ^^
you have to farm to become a warrior. U learn a lot about attacking by farming as most of the time u have to hit the core with barch. So I think u r wrong. If u farm with skill, u r attacking with skill

I missed 5 wars in my clan and farmed my whole base. I'm surely a mix of 2. I enjoy warring & farming the same

Mystery, I can see that you have done a great job on farming, much better than most players...
But for me the most exciting part of this game is on war (or the attack/defence skills), as long as your defence and heroes are up to a certain level (I'm sure you are), just enjoy the game and show your skills on wars

Im one of them believers that farming increases your attacking skills whilst at the same time you are gaining resources for your base.

Answer: Farming, it goes both ways. If you farm, you will eventually find yourself consistently 2 starring in war.
