How do people exactly have farming skills? I see that a lot, "you are such a bad farmer" or "you are such a good farmer". How do you get good at clicking the next button until a good base shows up? Or does putting in more time make you a skilled farmer?

    I war and farm

I'm barching in champs, and I can tell you most people seem to be unable to reach 50% barching in champ... Moreover, farming is not only about clicking next forever until a dead base shows up, I often attack active bases with storages on the edge, or even with grouped storages in the core !

with both lv40 heroes, you already destroy 30% of the base... shouldn't be hard to barch the other 20%

I have observed there are 3 type of players in this game:
    1. The farmer who are more focusing in (non stop) farming/grinding their base/heroes which make them lacked of warring skills after they get it maxed.

    2. The warrior who are more focusing in their offence skills (warring) which make them lacked of farming skills and decent/not maxed base.

    3. Them who are neither a farmer or a warrior, who are well known with their rushed base. keke~

I fell on the 1st category which I admitted that I enjoyed war very much before I got TH9. Grinding both of heroes non stop in TH9 and opted out of the wars at most. After a while when they are about to maxed now, found out that warring has became something that mostly get on my nerves. But nonetheless, I am still one of them who want be excelled both in farming and warring.

Which type are you categorized into? And what do you think is the best way to have a fast progressing maxed base and heroes but not lacked of warring skills? So far I have been a TH9 for 7 months and 4 days.

    Thanks for your insights! ^^
I kind of fall in category number 1. I have been th8 for months and I've done war quite a lot during that time but now I've become farming focused the past month trying to get as many skull walls done as quick as possible. I wouldn't say I have a lack of warring skills though but maybe it might show up once I'm done with th8.

The game is split into two in my mind. Regular attacks are just farming and war is for the stars. I only use my strongest troops in war, never in regular attacks

I would have quit this game ages ago if it were not for war. Farming is incredibly boring and I'd rather beat my head against a wall than grind out walls or heroes. My heroes will stay at Lv30 each forever and I don't care if I'll only ever have partial zap walls as I only ever dump the occasion 4 million on them from war winnings etc.

    Warrior here.

I was both until I finished maxing my TH9, and now I just farm to fund donations and focus solely on war.

Farming has always been a means to an end; war is the game for me.

Before TH9, I was a farmer and warrior because dragon spam would get you through just about any war. Starting with TH9, you actually need to use troop comps that take skill to use. I think I lack those skills because I'm always using farming troops. I'm also someone who thinks war is just side show, so I'm OK with it. I can farm like nobody's business.
