No, SuperCell aren't that dumb. Since 98% of the information about your account is server-side, it has nothing to do with device.

The only thing stored on your device I believe, is language information and Gamecenter Friends / FaceBook Friends.

It seems random at times, I timed it last night (using a stop watch) sat there hitting reload, took me 13 mins and 24 seconds before it allowed me to log in again. Other times its like 5 minutes. Maybe it's league specific?

the game kicks you off for about 5-10 minutes after 6 hours and it wont let you log on with any device ( i use my phone and ipad).

Though the game does kick you, you can switch to the second device without getting attacked before the 6 hour limit is reached, resetting it. I've never reached 6 hours, but have gotten on the same account on another device easily, just go onto it on both devices and the original will be kicked off.You would technically never be offline, but it should restart the servers timer since you signed off and on rapidly.

Back on topic: Prior to the forced break, you could have some Legos 'play' for you 24/7. I believe one of the top 10 (possibly more) was doing that.

That doesn't reset the "get a life" timer. After 6 hours of playing over any number of devices, you'll be forced off for a few minutes. If you get raided you can get back on pretty much immediately, otherwise it takes about 8-10 minutes. It was never as few as 6 for me (spoken as someone who often saw that message twice a day). With my town hall outside around 3000 trophies, I get sniped immediately now, so no big deal (my only real concern is that invariably this happens when I'm preparing for a war attack, I've just gotten some big-ticket donation in my clan castle, and I don't want to lose it defending against an all-out attack, wish I could set my CC troops not to defend like I can with heroes). You have to be offline for several minutes to reset the timer; possibly the amount of time it kicks you out for is the same time you have to be offline to reset the timer.

I thought if you log off, then log back on you can continue playing, because the whole point is letting other people be able to attack you. Does it have a log off timer, that when reached will allow you to log on and have another 6 hours to play?
