    I have not thought to post something about it on the forums but I'm afraid your right. I do think that removing the poison spell is way too drastic though. I think they should increase cost of the spell or nerf it. Yeah ok having it kill archers and barbarians is fine with me since their tier 1 troops. I don't think they should be able to completely kill witches and wizards is a bit overpowered. I've read through this thread and it does kind of ruin cc diversity. For lower town halls all you get is drags drags drags in war clan castles and for high town halls all you can get is lava hound lava hound lava hound or possible a golem sometimes. Kind of boring and it's easier to plan how your gonna take out the cc troops because it's pretty obvious. Ok well theirs balloons but their useless in defense at th7 and th8 and are totally useless against air attacks.

    Result is pretty much the same though. Who cares if they dropped a poison on your cc troops? Same as luring it out with a giant and dragging it to a corner with 223 to finish enemy troops. And it is definitely not absolutely ludicrous. "Max cc" that's just trying to exaggerate its effect. Wizards have 164 health, witches have even less.

    At least you have to at least take the time to do it and use the army camp space to bring the giant or hog to lure the clan castle with you. With some army's you don't have to do it now. Poison spell is basically free. With the dark spell theirs a extra spell space that can only be used with a dark spell so of course everyone's gonna use it. I think supercell should have tried to counter it by adding 2 new spaces for spells instead of just 1 so people can choose to bring a extra regular spell and no dark spells. It could end up over powered though but it could create more diversity again. That's only option I can think of besides rising the cost or nerfing it.

    The spell kills max wizards in 10 seconds. At lvl 1. Valks cannot defend you against an air attack. Th7s don't get the spell.
    i have lvl 3 xbows too. The stupid game lets any th10 with barch and 10 giants get to the center of my max defensive th9 base in multi.( a big pet peeve that such a cheap attack can be so effective, another thread I guess) Now no wiz in my cc can help fight them off. During war ppl have dragons to give away and it's the only decent troop to defend against all attacks. Loons are still good- but not against air attacks. But most ppl carry tier 1 or (not cheap) wizards to donate for regular defense.
    For such a low elixer spell to kill witches that cost more in de is a bit baffling. Especially since it is a "free" spell and you give up nothing to carry it.
    But I mostly care about war and it has ruined all the diversity in war cc's- where ppl spend the de and elixer and creativity to make them as interesting as possible. Now we can't. And killing cc was a bit of an art. now that's gone. Not a huge deal but on the sad side. I don't even bother to pull cc anymore in multi. I used to test for cc on every attack.
    And I agree that if you pull, dragons are a very easy cc kill. ,my th6 account does it easily in war very attack with lvl 3 troops against lvl 5 dragons. Other cc kills are much harder.

    Put strong troops like drags or loons instead of wizards or archers that can be taken out very easily using the poison spell.

    I love the poison spell. I use it for exactly what you described. In my lavaloonion attack in multi if the base has cc troops come out. I drop my one poison spell I carry on them. And it takes care of most troops. Even high lvl wizzs and archers for sure. Cc troops used to take out a few loons b4 my minions could concentrate on them, now spell does the work.

    And it's cheap ! Less that 100 dark. Def worth carrying into battle. First upgrade is only 25k dark. Not bad!

    I have not have anyone use this spell on me. Guess I'll be the ill one when somebody does it to me! But until then LOVE IT !

    Why do you say 'all useless now' as if you've given a list when all you've given is 2 troops?
    Why don't you tell me why a cc of archers should be better than the more expensive dragon, or hound, or valks, or loon?

    A cc of troops that take 1 space was op, no one can deny that. Wizards and witches were also overused.
