    Valkyrie Modifications

    Hello Supercell and fellow Clashers,

    I have an idea that could benefit the clash community. It seems as if the only thing clash is currently missing is a troop that does extra damage to heroes. Valkyries already taarget heroes and seem to be magnetic to them, so why isn't it listed as favorite target. Heroes and CC troops should be listed as the valk's favorite trarget but obviously within a certain range. Valkyries should also do more damage to heroes. I was thinking about a multiplier. For example, level 1 and 2 valks can do 1.5X damage to heroes and defending troops while lv 3 and 4 do 2X. It would also be nice if town hall 10's can attain a fifth level of the Valkyrie. Something with a little more health and attack power than the normal pattern and with an abnormally high research cost (possibly 100k). The fifth level of the valk could do 3X damage to heroes making them more useful for town hall 10 players. The sudden popularity of the valkyrie would have to be met with an interesting design, possibly a black axe and or red eyes?? Looking forward to seeing some of this implemented, it is an honor playing this great game.

    I love Valkyries. As a TH8 they rock. Level 5 for TH10 is good.

    But you took OP beyond Mega Rayquaza OP.

    First off, if they had Heroes as favorites, the game mechanic of them going between and destroying multiple buildings is useless. Second, Valkyries already do high damage. I don't want my King to die in 3 hits. A 50% multiplier, much more a 100% multiplier, is too OP.

    Good Idea

    I really like that idea. A troop that would be attracted to heroes would be great for clan wars. I like the addition of the damage multiplier too, that would make it easier to kill the heroes and encourage people to upgrade and use valks more, which may be the least used troop in the game.

    Heroes would be completely useless on defense because they'd be getting three shotted. Extremely OP.

    I agree with you, that the idea of the valkyrie targetting heroes will change their normal path. They already are drawn to heroes enough but the game is missing a troop that does extra damage to heroes and cc troops. the multiplier for the valk adds that extra dimension that the game needs. It will also change base design from being so cored that typical bases are nowadays. the damage multiplier works, maybe it shouldn't be so high but it works. A smaller multiplier like 2X for max valk is enough. a level 20 king has 2717 hit points. a level 5 valk with normal damage progression and 2X multiplier would kill the king in roughly 6 hits. That, in my opinion, is balanced. You have to remember that the hero and other defenses are gunning at the valkyrie, its not as OP as you might think. Thanks for helping me though

    The damage multipliers could be lowered a lot. Maybe to +25% against heroes, so a max valk would do 155 damage to heroes and 124 to everything else.

    I agree BrewCrew, Thanks! In clan wars, an opposing lv 30+ king or queen is usually quite intimidating. Knowing i can bring 3 max valks (possibly level 5) to gun down the other heroes will open up town hall 10 attacks, and encourage more than just 2 stars on town hall 10's. Lv 4 valks however should not have as high as a multiplier as that can be considered over powering. maybe a 1.5X multiplier for lv 3 and 4, and 1.25X or none for lv 1 and 2?

    That sounds like a great idea. Hopefully we can get this implemented into the game soon so more people will realize the real power of the Valkyrie. No problem for the input, anything to help the game!

    I like this idea, it would add more diversity to ks squads. But then i think the valk would replace pekka.

    Hello god, honestly ive used both valks and pekkas in similar armies. Valks are obviously the favorable troop for large cored bases while pekkas are more of a default power troop. Valks are only good in large groups while pekkas can be used in smaller sizes. With this addition to the game gowiva might become more popular than gowipe but depends on the base. Centralized heroes would be favorable to a gowiva, i think base design as a result would change, gowiva would probably equaly gowiwi or gowipe in terms of use. But personally, if an update like this comes to the game, valks would be used in 2's or 3's in armies where heroes would pose a problem. Gowipes are still relatively successful against heroes, the power of the valk wont change, its just its power against heroes. Pekkas fair well against heroes and so there wont be too much of a replacement. Adding 2 valks to your golaloon or your goho could improve attacking drastically. People don't use valks and don't realize its strength in cores and against heroes. This update would make that aspect of the game more visible.
