How much de minimum do you go for?

I think 1,200-1,300 is a good minimum in my opinion unless there is a decent amount of DE and it is on the outside so you don't even need to use your whole army.

I have just 10 skulls and rest lvl 7 walls.
Please suggest a trophy count and army comp for gold and de farming.
All my elixir troops are maxed and so are hogs and minions.

IF you are only farming gold and DE, I would highly suggest doing a 24 balloons and 40 minions balloonion strategy. It trains in about a half hour and would be great to do with the 1 gem boosts! I think roughly 1600 is a great range for you to be at already so in terms of that you are in good shape. Good luck farming!

It depends. If you're farming in low crystals or gold leagues with a fast-training army, go for 800 at least. If you have minions in your army, go for a bit more to offset that training cost. You really need to get a lot of attacks in if using a fast army like BAM. If you're using a slow army like loonion, unboosted, since you can't raid often, you need to go for more; at least 1500.

Contrary to what Onyx said, I think you should do either barch or BAM. BAM trains faster than barch, but the downside is that it uses elixir (although it's a small amount). If you need heavy DE farming as well, stick with barch. Your trophy count should be Gold 2, which I'm recommending for all TH8s and TH9s right now. Especially with the mine/collector boost, you should be making very good loot with short, quick barch/BAM raids at the right time of day. Try 4AM and 4PM, as well as 10:30PM Eastern Standard Time. Onyx said you should use loonion, and I disagree with that. Loonion trains slowly so you won't be able to benefit off of the boosted collectors people have that much. As a TH8, most of your raids should be collector raids, and loonion isn't very good at getting those; besides, barch is cheaper and faster. When i was finishing up TH8 and doing skulls back in January, I found myself getting 10-15 skulls done a day (just investing an hour or two). Granted, loot was better back then, but as TH8 you should be getting some good collector raids frequently.

No loot problems but I do have a question for the high level farmers;

Masters League farming. Is it worth it? Currently farming in G1 and finding great loot with BAM but I'm getting bored of it. So, I've been considering heading to m3 or m2 to try farming league bonus between loonion or some kind of giant based raids. Anyone have experience with this and prefer it over Gold/Crystal? Also, I'd like to head to a higher league so I can train a war-like army over night for some extra practice.

Note: both of my heroes are down and I plan to keep them down until they're both 20 (Currently both going to 19 so I'll have no heroes for about 2 weeks)

Both loonion and giant-based armies should work fine (I recommend LavaLoonion). If you do use loonion, I strongly recommend boosting rax and SF, because unboosted loonion is 48 minutes to train, and spells are important up in Masters. The league bonus is more than double minion cost if you're doing 24 loons and 50 minions, and I went for at least 2k DE that I could get, but after a bit of searching you can find 3000+ DE that you can get from a DE storage in 1st or 2nd layer. That combined with loot bonus is amazing DE. So to answer your question, to farm your royals, Masters League is more than worth it, and there are a lot of full gold storages there, so you'll get some walls done too.

By the way, you said you're getting good loot with BAM in G1. I haven't tried G1 in a while; do you think it's better than G2? I'm the "lazy farmer" type of guy; just nexting till I find a collector base, which is pretty monotonous and boring, as you said, but it does the job

I find 250/250k+ collector raids every time I go searching and even more often than I can find 1500 de. Not sure how G2 has been but I would definitely recommend G1 to anyone looking for dead bases.

I just improved my village into TH9 but I have found problems with the farming. I remember when I started in TH8 the farming was quite difficult at first but now, it is extremely complicated to get resources. Could you give me some advices for that? and also, my lab is stopped because I haven't got elixir enough and now I am improving my camps so, Is this a good idea as a first step? or i screwed up hahahah

While I am not having issues myself, 2 valued clan members are having the issue of too much elixir and not enough gold. The TH8 is constantly capped on elixir while the TH9 has had to prematurely start his legos because of it and is running out of skulls to upgrade, having mostly purple walls.

TH8 League: Gold II (Regular Farmer, attacks 5-15 times a day)
TH9 League: Gold I (Hardcore Farmer or botter, does several sessions every day)

I've been reading forums, reddit, and watching videos on clash (particularly farming) for a couple years. I also farm 10-20M a day, so I farm quite a bit. I am not a pro or an expert, but I know some stuff and there are awesome volunteers who do as well. Thanks for the bump flowers

Hey! The transition to a new Town Hall is never easy. But transition to TH9 is very difficult, compared to all the THs before. That's because you can't crush weak TH7s anymore. You need to work on improving your troops. Until you get your farming troops up to TH9 level, you will find loot very hard to get. So for now, stick to collector raids, and there are a good amount in Gold 2 and Gold 1. In April, silver leagues were the best, but loot has moved to upper gold leagues now. Just keep nexting until you find a good collector raid. I go for 120k of each and use as little of my army as possible so I can keep raiding with little downtime. Just keep barching or BAMing in Gold 2 or Gold 1 and you'll be able to upgrade your troops. Work on improving your camps too; the extra 20 space helps a lot. Get your queen to lv5 for the Royal Cloak and upgrade your CC, so you'll have more troops to raid with. Good luck, and hope I help!

For the TH8, there's really nothing he can do about it. Elixir fills up for everyone at TH8 once all the elixir upgrades are done. He can cook expensive troops and donate or raid with them to bring it down, but I recommend just keep barching and don't worry about it. He will get smashed by TH9s for his elixir, but since it isn't of any use to him, it shouldn't be a huge deal.

Pretty much the same thing for the TH9, just tell him to keep farming gold. The best (and only) thing he can do right now is get all the crystal walls to skull. Once he does that, he'll be able to dump his elixir on legos then lavas. So if his main goal right now is to make the elixir spendable, he needs to upgrade all his purple walls.

Sorry I couldn't help much for this one; not really anything you can do to prevent full elixir at later THs; not much you can spend it on until you have walls that can be upgraded with elixir. Good luck to both of them!
