HELP! Upgrade to TH 9 or not?

Need a few opinions on whether I should upgrade to TH to level 9 or not. All my defenses are basically maxed besides my teslas, which are one level from max. My walls are all level 7 and above, and Barb King is maxed. Below are a few pictures of my base and troop levels. Any input would be great, and please explain why you think I should or should not move on to TH 9. Thanks!

Defensively yes your good to go.

Offensively I would consider at least upgrading your Golem given the high usage of Golem attacks at TH9 and above. It's the one troop I wish I had done that I didn't do. Then again you have plenty of time during the upgrade of the TH and lab to get that done.

If you can be patient a little longer and level up those drills/collectors/DE troops/barracks it will make things easier at TH9. If it's no longer fun at TH8 then come on up you should be fine.

I would personally stay and upgrade your dark troops..Hogs are a major waring point in lvl8 ,so you missed that boat( if you don't and never do intend to war you possibly could move up)
Golems still lvl1 and valks..Walls are weak as well(they play a factor in war as well.But not until TH9 does it become a major problem) but having mixture of skulls and purples is just yukk)
I personally would stay, farm hard for DE and get them dark troops lvl,d up.
I'm TH8 and whilst it is a long time spent there, if you always have troops researching you can go to TH9
quite strong for normal raids and being ready for TH9 where by what I hear the fun really starts(The queen lava hounds, witch,s .) But what good are they if the troops that compliment them are not maxed

Also noticed you only have 1 barracks maxed, and a lot of mines and collectors you should upgrade(there's a post somewhere stating how much u are loosing per day not maxing collectors and mines)
So even more reason to hang back and grind some more as your gonna have to do it sometime.

You have done enough at TH8 that you would be fine at TH9. Do you need to upgrade now: no. Could you upgrade now: sure. I'd wait unless you think the game is starting to get less fun. The worst thing you can do is turn the game into something not fun and no longer enjoyable just to grind out something that people tell you you're supposed to do.

I highly recommend to everybody that they fully max their troops, heroes, defences and walls at th8. I am not a 'maxing' advocate but I think th8 is a very crucial aspect of the game.

This isn't very accurate. If your focus is farming, there isn't any good reason to max walls at TH8. The difference between purples and skulls for early TH9 doesn't hold a candle to the difference made by 25 more walls and XBows.

Walls are overrated. My defenses are getting close to max at TH9 and 70% of my walls are still pink. In the past 18 days (as far back as my defense log goes) I have been raided 42 times; I lost over 100k/100k on only 5 occasions. 4 of those were collector raids (my collectors aren't walled). The 5th was a maxed TH9 DE raid.

Would skulls have saved me 3k DE over the past 18 days? Maybe, but probably not. Would I have more DE today if I were still wasting time on walls at TH8, without 2 maxed drills or TH9 defenses? Not a chance. My TH9 drills alone have collected 45k+ more than max TH8 production in that period.

Upgrade. Skulls are ideal, but i see loads of bases in matchmaking just fine with Purple Crystal walls.

Just make sure to upgrade your Dark Troops and Walls while at th9.

Upgrade everything that you can, defences, troops, dark troops, bombs the lot. Then work on walls to get them all skull walls. Only then go to th9. Th9 is a big step and if you don't have everything ready to start adding new defences and upgrading them to the same lvl as your current defences and upgrading troops, then you will find it hard. I would also wait till you have full storages so that you are ready to strike hot with your builders.
