    That makes no sense. Trophy is a zero sum game. If I lose on an attack and give up 39 cups, it moves the defender up by 39 cups, but it also brings me down 39 cups. As much as it brings people up, it also brings people down.

    I will probably never get there but I too find it very odd that SC introduces new leagues and new matchmaking which results in the most active and dedicated players are not "allowed" to play anymore... The day I have to wait even 5 minutes to get a base to attack is the day I quit. I also don't get why cups won/lost has to be a zero-sum game. Since cups are eliminated each month in legendary any sudden inflation in cups will eventually be capped anyway.

    If it was up to me, I would widen the search parameters so everyone can have a target... In time those ranges can of course be tightened when available bases is no longer a problem. I would also introduce unbalanced scores so that you would always get a minimum number of cups won and a maximum of cups lost. Will that generate more cups ? Yes, but what exactly is the problem with that ?

    Today it took me over 7 hours to find one base to raid. On the average I was offered one base to raid every 20-30 minutes. This is really killing my motivation to push.

    They could have (should have arguably?) set the legends league at 4000 instead of 5000 - bunch all the 4000+ plus players together for a month long race. I guess they expected that the backlash against losing those hard won trophies meant that they decided to do it differently - set the bunching at 5000. Eventually the expectation might be that enough players get past 5k that the whole clouds issue disappears. Honestly, I don't expect that to happen - the growth in the player base is not going to be as exponential over the next year as it's been up till now. I'd be happy for them to start the monthly 'bunch&trophy race' at 4k, but as I'm not the one who'd be losing the trophies to make that happen I don't really feel that I've got any claim to have a say in that.

    An alternative idea would be to artificially increase the trophy economy and make it easier to get above the 5k limit - one option could be a minimum trophy gain/loss at 3 (ie if there's a big disparity, the winner never gains fewer than 3 for a 3 star win, and the loser loses the same). The effect would mean making the 5k threshold easier to get to... but that takes away a little of the achievement of those that already made it.

    So yeah, the only solutions are that people who achieved currently lose out, and those that want to achieve get an easy run up. Doing something disenfranchises those who already achieved and doing nothing frustrates everyone below.

    I wouldn't call staring at mostly clouds in the Titan league for 4 to 6 hours in every session exactly a fun game. Sure it should be hard to reach the top but not at the expense of so much time. This doesn't make the game hard it just makes it unplayable and boring. It's no wonder that players get frustrated and start dropping trophies once they get above 4400-4500.

    I keep hearing about the game balancing out eventually well how long is that going to take 6 months a year ? As it is now there aren't enough players pushing to the higher leagues because of the cloud issues. Seems to me that there are more players dropping down than pushing up.

    Anyways I don't think this balancing out is going to happen anytime soon with this vicious circle of players pushing up and then dropping back down again so if you want to push to the top get used to staring at clouds and boring game play. Very unfortunate that the end game in such a fantastic game like Clash of Clans has to be like this. Surely there are better solutions to the cloud issues.

    Since I've gotten to high titan II, I'm watch more Netflix than ever while raiding. I can even watch shows with subtitles now.

    I can't even think of anything flippant to say mate....lets be frank if it is taking that long to find you an opponent you either quit or drop...nobody could sustain interest in swirling clouds for hours..I would say drop then wait for more players but I would imagine it's going to take a long time until there are enough Titans to strop this happening.

    How will there be more players in higher trophy leagues if people get bored of clouding for 6 hours and quit/drop??? I am 11 cups from Titan 1. I will get there then not give a ♥♥♥♥ and float down slowly. Doing 1-2 legit raid a day after 12 hours of searching isn't why I play coc.
