I've contacted them numerous times about changing it and this is the shpiel they give me. How can this word not be offensive? I've never played a game where it wasn't.
If you say ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in global, it isn't censored, meaning Supercell does not see it as an offensive word, and it isn't, when used in context correctly. In my music book, I have to "♥♥♥♥♥♥ a little" at the end. This means I need to go slower and delay the time between each note.
However, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ can be used as an insult, but this is not the true definition of the word, therefore Supercell have chosen not to censor it or consider it as a bad word. I am sure the team had plenty of debates about this when creating the chat filter and what they deemed was a "bad word" but this is their decision and they won't change it now.

Look, I understand why you would view it as offensive. In the context that most people today use it it would be. But like other people have already said, the true definition is not offensive, and I suppose that's what SC based their decision off of.
SC can't be responsible for everyone who gets offended by something.

its a game, not everything has to be politically correct, if someone is offended by your name, in my opinion that is their problem not yours. just think, it could be worse. it seems like an innocent enough name to me.
To be fair, it's different to call yourself "♥♥♥♥♥♥oTheClown" than to tell someone "You Are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed"
