How will a max(almost) TH9 do in champs?

I used the search function to find good answers but can't seem to find any.

1) Cups - What is the RANGE vs. a fellow TH9 or a TH10?. Attacking and defending.
2) Loot - Not worried about it.
3) I see many THs 8, 9 & 10 from crystal II up to Masters-III in my searches where I'm at now in Masters-II(nearing masters-I). What will my searches find once I reach Champs-III? All champs?
4) Attack strat - I'll figure that out once I get there.

I can play for more than six hours a day, with TH out, so I'm not worried about maintaning my cups at the end of the day.

If things are great in champs as a TH9, I'll be staying there indefinitely.

Any further suggestions/help is welcomed and highly appreciated.

I went to Champs last week. A TH9 can survive there, without much effort. But in order to make a profit, you need to learn to raid th10s with infernos. Because as soon as you reach 3100 cups, almost all th9s will be worth less than ten cups, and the only whales will be the max th10s with infernos.

Just keep your TH out, raid in sessions, and use loonion for 50% on max th10. Personally, though, i prefer Masters 3. It's much more comfortable.

2) Loot is maintainable but only because of loot bonuses. Snipes are very important.
3) My searches up in champ consist of many 3 trophy TH9s (who are in master/crystal), many 15-30 trophy TH10s (who are in champ), and the occasional 15-30 trophy TH9 (who is in champ).
4) Surgical loonion! With it you can arguably take out any TH9 and with practice you can 50% a number of TH10s. 24 loons, 46 minions, 4 wall breakers, heroes, 4 rages, 1 poison, and anything air in your cc.

If you intend to stay in champs as a TH9 I would suggest you go past 3400 trophies, around about that point was when I stopped getting sniped by people in C1-M1 and started getting sniped by people in much trophy ranges. So instead getting sniped for 13+ trophies I only usually lost 1-2 trophies.

I used GoWiPe, I usually went for 3 golems, 3 pekkas, 2 rage, 1 jump and a heal. That allowed me to 2 star TH10s pretty easily and on some occasions 3 star TH9s.

Other armies I tinkered with was 5 golem GoWi and 5 golem GoHo against Th10s that were quite stable 2 stars but the above GoWiPe proved to be more consistent.

Almost always a snipe, I think 90% of my defences were snipes most were from TH10s.

I'm in 3900 th10 and I found a master1 th9 with his TH inside. Worth 1 cup. But max out loot so I devoured him.
I agree always put your th out as a th9 or 8

I'm a Th10 so I'm not too sure, but I'm pretty certain that with surgical loons, your heroes make up a big bulk of your percentage.

Its doable.. i dropped back to masters because i ran out of loot. The problem with Champs is no one has any good loot to take. Verrrrrry rarely do you see something worth raiding win or lose.

The thing i hate about pushing that high is the armies take too long to train. Previous comment mentioned 3 golems or more.. thats close to 2 hours.. if you're doing that army all the time you can only do 3 decent raids before getting logged off. then those trophies u gained will end up being sniped. So pushing pass 3200 is difficult without boosting.

Champs III doesnt make sense at th9 in my opinion.. Masters is better. But since you're maxed why not...
