Gowipe tips please

Okiee guys, I recently unlocked golems and yes I'm a TH8. Gowipe is rumored to be the best attacking strategy in TH8? And thus from drag and hog raiding I've moved to gowipe so I want to ask some stuff and clarify them. And if I missed out any stuff or anything, please do fill in for me

Okie so mainly Gowipe used in wars, and it's easy to predict what is in the CC now. Mostly it's a lvl5 drag and a lvl6 loon.

1) do I lure them out and kill? (People say not to) well my golems are lvl one, and almost all of my recent war raids, before the drag is taken out, one of my golem dies, splits into two. N I take only 2 golems,2 lvl2 Pekkas and 7 lvl5 WBs and rest wiz. So what am I supposed to do?

2) when sending the golems as decoys, should I wait for the wiz to take surrounding buildings and then deploy my WBs?

3) should I attack from the side of the base, where the CC troops are triggered the furthest? Or the closest?

4) should I rage the golems just as they've been inside the first sector? Or wait till CC troops come so that I can rage both wizards and the golems together?

5) what are the spells I should take? 2rage 1 heal? Or 1 rage 2 heal?

my spells are lvl5 and my poison spell is lvl2. And my BK is lvl10

That's about it, please give ur opinion and other tips,

Hogs is the best war strat in th8, stick to ur hogs n use gowipe only if u want to 2 star th9

GoWiPe even at TH8 is usually a 2* strat. I always leaned more in the direction of Hogs. Hogs are great for 3*.

it really depends on base layout. dont get stuck in the cookie cutter army vs any base mindset

as for to lure or not to lure that also depends. if cc is easy to lure and has a good anchor spot then youre best bet is to go for the cc kill. If luring isnt an option be prepared to cover your first golem with heal and get those drag killing wizards in there asap to deal with the cc.

i say 2 heal 1 rage, at th8 i had time to lure troops but at th9 you dont really, i aimed to get pekas to centre then rage, not rage the golems, and heal pekas golems or king, dont heal wizards

Even I use GoWiPe for wars..but take note that you can't three star every base..maybe two.

FirstQuestion) Many people might tell you not to take out The CC...but I take them out by carrying one hog to lure them and use you CC to take them out..maybe even use your Poison Spell. But if you don't take them out maybe your PEKKAS and golems might get hurt while your Wizards take them out...better be safe.

SecondQuestion) Why wait..Deploy your WB after you have deployed you Golems..be sure that the mortar doesn't take it out. Then deploy wiz to take out Trash Buildings then deploy your PEKKA to go into the core.

ThirdQuestion) Depends if your taking out CC first..if not, attack from the closest from the CC....Sooner the better.

FourthQuestion) Better Rage them both when CC comes out.

FifthQuestion) 2 rage 1 Heal..use heal when Inside the core with PEKKAS,Golems and you King.

I would highly recommend pulling the clan castle at townhall 8 in gowipe. The reason being that you don't have an archer queen to help your wizards deal with a level 5 dragon and you can't afford to have the dragon run rampant on your troops. The poison spell will also effectively slow down the dragon.

I know this is not a townhall 8 attack but here is a look at gowipe. You want to make sure your funneling your troops to the core to take it out as fast as possible to ensure the possibility of a three star.

Two other possible changes to your army. First what level are your pekkas? Adding a two more pekkas to your army can greatly increase it's resistability to mortar fire which should increase your three star attempts. Secondly, with that being said you live and die by the damage output of your wizards. Are you losing a lot of them too early? Focus on keeping them alive and you will see more three star attacks.

I can offer some other "tips" for you.

Several have said and I agree a GOWIPE is mostly a 2 star attack. I also agree.. there are other 3 star attacks that are much better.

Hogs are great 3 star strategy. Also Dragloon and other hybrid drag attacks are also good. I've seen and read a lot and too many people think GOWIPE is what to do at TH8. I did the same thing at first... I've learned since then.

1. I am a TH9, and I don't lure the CC. (I didn't use GoWiPe as a war stratagy as a TH8. I did practice it while farming to get ready for TH9) I use poison spell and rage on the troops to kill CC.
2. As soon as the mortar fires I send in WB. I drop the wizards as soon as the golems are dropped.
3. It depends on how the base is laid out.
4. This depends on the base layout of course.
5. Take 2 rage and 1 heal.
(I am still learning how to use GoWiPe, GoWiWi, and GoWiWiPe. I hope I helped some)

Well in some wars there are anti hog war bases so no hogs there
