Is TH9 Economy Broken?

I would absolutely agree with the statement "TH9 economy is broken". I turned TH9 just before the update- the loot I was getting before and after the update is dramatically lower. It's got to the point where I hardly play anywhere near what I used to play in terms of hours a day. Loot is miserable in every league I have been in- im currently relying on loot bonuses in C1 to make up for what I'm losing nexting/ army cost wise. Going to TH9 at this point in the clash economy is probably the worst decision anyone can make.

Loot has been as it always has been. Feast or good dining, depending on how you hunt. I try to keep one building up, leaving the other two sparse. I'm currently needing elixir for my next build...so I am not looking at gold or DE. My concern in a raid is making a profit on elixir. Doing well. And as a side benefit, I'm slowly adding gold and DE... Though not huge amounts. After the elixir build is begun, I'm doing a DE based build....same strategy. Look for only DE not concerned with the other two. ( during this elixir hunt, I'll dump the gold into walls as soon as it hits the proper amount needed...in this case 1 mil for Legos).

That's the fun of updates, you need to adapt in strategy, army composition, goals etc.

This current update moves away from strong arm tactics. One can't bully their way up. Emphasis is on building defenses and learning the new rules. Slow attacks using brute strength won't work against the new defenses. Get away from gowiwi, barch etc. Take the hint from the Haste spell.

Nowadays the rule is "Speed kills".

I just target DE all the time and always end up with plenty of elixir and gold.

Just maxed my defenses except for walls. Now im pushing to master to feed off of loot bonus and what i find is that crystal league is the worst league for farming. The amount of sinpeable townhall is scrace and the number of th8 i encountered is less. If youre looking for gold and normal elixir, gold league is the best according to me

I have an alt account that is Th5, and I'm getting more loot than I am with my TH9. TH9 Economy has been terrible since the update, I"ve been from Silver to Masters and there has not been one spot that has been consistent. The only way to get loot consistently is to log in at 3AM.

Seriously, I'm nexting 60+ times and can't find a decent base to attack with a GiBarch army. Currently in Gold 3.

I didn't read everyone's replies but it is not broken. Yesterday during the day it wasn't that great but last night the loot was great. I was hitting a lot of TH8's with full storages. Yes, I was boosting. I used GiBarch and GiArch with 2 rage and 2 Heal. Change your league if you have to and pay attention to the time of day it is the best.

Yes stay away from crystal... it's a desert. A wasteland.

To those complaining about the lack of collector raids. Maybe you are reading the collectors wrong. The max collectors can be deceiving in how much they have.

I just got a 200k/200k collector raid that was only show1/4 full. I regularly get 150k /150k collectors.

Look at the drills if it's a lvl5 or 6 drill showing full then the collectors usually have at least 150k in them

Even though that's the way to go sadly it wont help these people.

They are looking for full blown collector raids.

they wouldn't have a clue how to attack full storages.
