If all TH9s did what I do, I don't know where TH10s would find easy loot. I don't know how the economy for TH10s isn't suffering, given that TH9s have the elixir/gold option for Level 9 walls, except that some people don't bother with maxing walls before upgrading to TH9. I've always said that only Level 10/11 walls should have the elixir upgrade option, just for economic reasons for the TH9/10 players.

Since the matchmaking update, I have noticed in my nexting that I get way more TH10s as attack options than TH8s, which I'm not exactly loving. Also, I've noticed that I can come across a dead base before I come across a worthy TH8/TH9 storage raid, and I'm in Masters III, but I won't complain about that
I do the same thing. There is absolutely no reason to carry loot as a TH9, or really any TH for that matter. I think SC changed the amount of collector raids available, and as the legit players get smarter as they upgrade, they carry less loot.

I think there are more inactive or weekend warrior or war only TH10s, which is why TH10 players are not having much issue with loot. From replays it looks like they are getting a decent amount of collector raids.

There could also be the issue of people who do things that aren't allowed to be talked about on these forums.

I don't know what it is, but it is bad. I know some people are supposedly not having a bad time with it, but all the 9s in my clan and most people on the forums agree, the loot is bad for TH9s, and it really isn't getting much better after the update.

Well personally I like to keep max offering loot in my storages becuase I raid in sessions. So when I get hit I just made 2 to 4 mil so losing 350k worst case is nbd. I like to give back to the economy to help keep it healthy... if everyone did what u do than no one would have any loot and this gsme would be miserable. Getting attacked and losing loot isn't really a big deal.... think of the overall scheme of things... think big picture...

Also to reply to your earlier comment Deven about when I raid I'll post my past 7 raids as of an hour ago... all storage raids at about 1400 cups.

    All numbers are thousands. 100 = 100,000

    Gold. Elixir. DE

    150 215 1.2
    207 141 1.1
    299 216 1.7
    240 277 1.9
    254 114 0.1
    176 268 1.5
    0.28 0.13 1.4 (I need de atm)

This isn't me trying to brag I'm just saying that loot is just fine as a th9...

Well, you kinda sorta have to carry loot to pay for upgrades.

Loot is bad for th9's? I wonder what other th9's think. Recently, loot does seem less but not anything that I'd call broken.

Loot has been as it always has been. Feast or good dining, depending on how you hunt. I try to keep one building up, leaving the other two sparse. I'm currently needing elixir for my next build...so I am not looking at gold or DE. My concern in a raid is making a profit on elixir. Doing well. And as a side benefit, I'm slowly adding gold and DE... Though not huge amounts. After the elixir build is begun, I'm doing a DE based build....same strategy. Look for only DE not concerned with the other two. ( during this elixir hunt, I'll dump the gold into walls as soon as it hits the proper amount needed...in this case 1 mil for Legos).

That's the fun of updates, you need to adapt in strategy, army composition, goals etc.

This current update moves away from strong arm tactics. One can't bully their way up. Emphasis is on building defenses and learning the new rules. Slow attacks using brute strength won't work against the new defenses. Get away from gowiwi, barch etc. Take the hint from the Haste spell.

Nowadays the rule is "Speed kills".

I use gihobarch almost exclusively for farming.... and how did this reply in any way relate to my post?

I farm m2 for DE. i usually play for 2 hour stretchs using lavaloonion (and yes i boost my barracks). On the average night i make 3 to 4 million in both gold and elixir and 10 to 15K in DE. I use the league bonus to cover my troop cost.
