Why do people put off heroes? ( TH9 )

That is an inaccurate statement lol. You'll see most farmers have max heroes before walls, especially the TH10s. I had 30/30 before finishing lavas at TH9 and 40/40 at TH10 with about 50 zaps left.

I disagree with the lava part. There is no way to speed up hero upgrades unless you spend a lot of money, but you can certainly farm more for walls if you so desire. Several people in my clan have lava walls but only one has lvl 30 heroes. This is even more true if you war regularly.

I've seen many people on the forums and clash have full Legos or Lavas and only 15/15 heroes or slightly higher it takes way longer to farm heroes then to farm walls so people really should be upgrading them every chance they get.
As for myself I have 15/15 heroes and only have 60 Legos, 155 skulls and 35 purple and almost max th9 defenses

I have 15/16 heroes all legos and 15 lava walls. My heroes have been asleep non stop since i made the jump and 4 builders working non stop.

The DE storage is one of the most heavily protected buildings so I'd probably say skill level plays a part.

Lots of pump raiders are incapable of getting large amounts of DE. Raiding full drills on the outside of the base with barch or gobs is much less of a thing than full mines/collectors. Bots aren't very good at funneling to and targeting DE either.

The problem of "I can't upgrade heroes and war" is NOT solved by saying "don't war"

Doesn't solve a thing. I upgrade both of my heroes continuously. Should I sit out of war for a year or so

He probably talking about the fact that heroes take builder times, while wall doesn't. My heroes are finished before wall also, but that's because I dedicate 1-2 builders for it. Took forever. I'm a TH10 with crappy defense, max heroes and almost max wall.

i have them at 14/13 and all maxed th8 defenses and um like 220 legos walls i plan to go to th10 new years with maxed everything

A lot of people put off heroes due to warring or using armies that cost way to much dark elixir for farming. I quite often see people using 36 hogs in a farming attack. There is a reason their heroes cant keep up with their base.

It takes about 200 days to upgrade the AQ from level 10 to level 30. Are you suggesting sitting out of wars for 6 months?
