Why do people put off heroes? ( TH9 )

I've seen many people on the forums and clash have full Legos or Lavas and only 15/15 heroes or slightly higher it takes way longer to farm heroes then to farm walls so people really should be upgrading them every chance they get.
As for myself I have 15/15 heroes and only have 60 Legos, 155 skulls and 35 purple and almost max th9 defenses

Because they like to use them in wars probably.

I'm rushing TH8 for the TH9 better offense. That means I'll have more time for hero's. Don't know why people put them off, but I'll upgrade them every chance I get!

If people like wars that much it isn't to hard to 2 star a th9 with only 1 hero

Here are the reasons that come to my mind:

- Clan requirements to be in wars
- Focus on other things
- Being in low league and not having enough DE to do both at the same time
- Being a very good farmer and getting tons of elixir/gold enough to max everything besides heroes
- Not realizing how much heroes are important in high level attack

In some clans if youre hero is upgrading, they will not allow you to go to war

I follow same approach. Now 148 lava and 30/20 heroes. I will have 30/30 heroes and max walls in 10 weeks but still defenses to do
I upgrade non stop both heroes until level 20 and I war once a week. to do wars with heroes I usually attack between upgrades and 5 times i gem queen times and one time i gem king time. Total gem i used are lower than 500 coming from obstacles.
Now i just upgrade king to 30 then I start upgrading queen to 30.
You can war once a week but you cannot war back to back if you want high level heroes.

It might surprise you but some of us farm so much that our hero upgrades can't keep up with our wall upgrades. Quite a few people on these forums farm 2-4 lavas a day so their heroes will be low in comparison but not because of lack of DE.

Edit: Some people aren't the greatest farmers or use suboptimal farming armies to get DE.
