Why do people put off heroes? ( TH9 )

I enjoy the Clan Wars part of the game to much. Now though I'm upgrading royals. I'm going from running fun kill squads to lazy two star gowipes. DE is pretty easy to come by. The not being able to use royals in attack makes a big difference at th9 to th10 matchups. I'm pretty sure they don't care. They're off developing cotton candy saga for apple earrings.

I had to rush! I had bk10 and 225 skulls so no point to sit on full de, gold and elixir storages!!!
You think they break my base in crystal 2? the answer is no:
- in the first month of TH9 4 out of 5 attacks was snipe and i just had TH7 defenses!!! (20 lava + both heroes upgrading)
- in 2-4 months 9 out of 10 attacks was snipe (90 lava + both heroes upgrading)
- now it is 29 snipes out of 30 attacks (148 lava + one hero upgrading) any player can break me but they just scare from my lava walls

and i still have many low level defenses:
- mortars: 3 lvl5 + 1 lvl4
- WT: 3 lvl7 + 1 lvl4
- AT: 2 lvl11 + 1 lvl10 + 1 lvl9 + 2 lvl8
- cannons: 4 lvl7 + 2 lvl8
- tesla: 2 lvl4 + 2 lvl5
- x-bow: 1 lvl1 + 1 lvl2

my biggest mistake is buying x-bow. I just care about wars and just prioritize upgrading defenses for war purposes.

So mortars are lowest in my list!!!!!

I repeat: any TH9 with lvl6 gibarch and some spells can reach my de storage but they just fear because they immediately can see my lava but cannot find my lvl5 mortars!!!!

stupid concept, I'd smash you anyway, along with any other decent farmer.

Here are the reasons that come to my mind:

- Clan requirements to be in wars
- Focus on other things
- Being in low league and not having enough DE to do both at the same time
- Being a very good farmer and getting tons of elixir/gold enough to max everything besides heroes
- Not realizing how much heroes are important in high level attack

These are the best answers. I've warred without heroes and have come to the conclusion that it is just too much of a liability not having one. 3 stars are what it's all about in my clan and if you 2 start at TH9, unless you are going up against a TH10, you'll get an ear full about it. The 1 star difference could mean the war. Plus there isn't anything like level 20-25+ heroes in war. The damage and tanking boost is just too valuable to pass up. I've seen TH10s with 10-15+ heroes fail on high level TH9s because their heroes couldn't stay up. At their level it is pretty embarrassing for them. Grind those levels out.

I only have 51 lavas left and a level 25 BK and a soon to be 23 AQ and I'm back on dropping both of them ever week. Farming them slowed down a bit with the addition of the DE spells but now I'm back at it and farming in masters to boot. However, it's pretty tough getting them both down with 250K+ DE needed each week. I wish I've been dropping them both each week since day 1 at TH9 but oh well.

Do your hero farming at Th10 if you are active enough to grind out lavas way before your heroes are done. Don't stay and do them, much much faster at Th10.

I'm a TH8 and i have maxed my defenses except my walls...75 more left to skulls. When ever I do my farming attacks I side save around 500 DE. After some amount of time i will have enough to upgrade my king. But for war without my king my GoWiPe could go the wrong way..so either I opt out, or ask permission to attack lower players.

im just starting my lavas but my king is going 14 and my queen is 14 when I do both at the same time have doing them alot more lately I get attcked hard when I have both of them I only get sniped but im mostlly using my de in my lab upgardes I do upgrade them when I can upgrade them and a lab upgrade busy doing haste 2 next up is golem 3

I'm already at 90 lavas :/ farming walls is super easier than heroes since I can get at least 4 lava done in a day so 4 lava times 7 days equals 28 lavas per week while heroes takes 7 freaking days starting at lv15 onwards

I've been upgrading my queen nonstop :/

War im the leader i can't opt out. Sneak em in when i can

lol im also leader of my caln and we are always in war with every know and thjen take a week brake but I do my heroes anyway since Im teh one atatcking the top which they normally ingnore ours and we take there mid since ive been growing my clan to have a good war team but its dam hard to attck without heroes and know any hero upgrades means they are out for a week now
