    Dark Spell Factory

    Does anybody know why dark spells are not being used? The only Dark Spell that I see top players use is the Poison spell along with Freeze spells and Rage. Can anybody share what the Earthquake or Haste spell are good for? What troop combinations can these spells be used efficiently with?

    I'm sure part of it is that the majority of clash doesn't even have all the dark spells yet. I'd say the average person now has poison, but that's it. I also only see poison so far, but remember after the update? You didn't even see that. I think we just need to wait until the majority has the spells, then gotta wait a bit for strategies to get adopted.

    You don't war if you aren't seeing at least poison being used.

    Earthquake is good for using four of them on walls against certain bases. Four EQ of any level will completely destroy any level walls, and in a wide area. We have an early TH10 player who has started regularly picking a max TH9 or low TH10 base to hit with four EQ and then rage/heal for the other three spells, and govawi. HUGE lanes all the way to the center are possible on some bases this way...no WB or jump needed.

    I have already unlocked the poison and earthquake and I'm TH8. Most people do use the earthquake as well even if it isn't as noticeable..

    Thanks for the feedback. I have unlocked all Dark spells and Maxed them out as much as TH9 allows. I guess I personally just haven't seen enough use of the dark spells, except the Poison spell so I'd figure I'd ask here for feedback. Maybe I just have to try them and see what work's.

    it takes a while for the new stuff to be commonly seen. I remember hounds being "useless". "stupid" "need buff" for quite some time after they came out before people figured out and began regularly using lavaloon type comps. people are still feeling them out. people will figure them out eventually as we are seeing with the 4eq strats and the changing of defense ccs to counter poison. haste I have yet to really see people embrace though, that's the one I think most people will struggle to find use for.

    Poison spell is available in 4 days.
    Haste is available in 18 days.
    It's been 24 days since the update on July 1st.

    Non-gemmers would have 6 out of the last 24 days to use Haste spells, if they had a builder available on day 1.

    If their builders were all busy on upgrades for 4-5 days on July 1st. It would leave only the last days for people to use Haste.

    Yeah, you wouldn't have seen much use in the past couple of weeks except from gemmers. The folks that gemmed their dark spell factory are in the minority. Most people aren't whales.

    Been loving haste with lavaloon, and EQ for gowiwiva, i can open up a lot of base designs with lanes to the sides and the core with 4 spells, drop the troops, rage in, wait for the funnel to drop royals in, track right to th, easy 2 and pushing 3 on some bases, 2 freeze and a rage is all i need

    I agree I haven't seen a lot of EQ usage yet. On my TH 8 mini account, I usually carry 4 EQ spells just in case I need them- I tend to carry a ground attack army (along with a heal or rage spell). I rarely use the EQ's, however, since I usually don't need them and it takes an hour to brew 4 EQ's. That being said, when I hit next and find that juicy base with a ton of DE, those EQ's are wicked for opening a big hole

    On my main TH9 account, I always carry one poison and two EQ. The EQ's help my BK or AQ break through walls if they're in a bad place. I've also used one or two to get the 50% and grab the league bonus (currently hanging out in Masters 3).

    you probably aren't much of a warer..er...er, cause you dont see how good all the d spells r. EQ r a better version of jump, haste is just as good and if not better then rage, and the poison is a better lightning.....at certain things. The EQ is better at th10 just cause they could open a straight path to the th, plus, the queen hasnt developed a phobia for the EQ like she has for the jump. The haste is better for loons in golaloon and pentas, just cause the loons really dont need the dmg boost from the rage, and since the poison does constant dmg, its better at taking out enemy cc. Also, they take up half the space!!
