Why would a TH10 farmer stay in Crystal leagues? Come down below!

My one hour in C1/M3 is something like this:

Break shield, raid a collectors for 300k each
Wait a few min to train a meager army, start nexting, take 1-2 snipes and maybe an easy collector (doesn't win)
Repeat and take a few more snipes
Gets full army, raid collectors for 300k each again
Starts nexting and sniping

In total, I get 2-3 good raids and win, 6-10 snipes, 1-2 easy collectors but usually lose them. That's more than 1mil each per hr and easily 6k DE/hr. If I'm lucky, I can get 10k DE from exposed drills and league bonus. Funnily, I find more collectors more easily in C1/M3 than in any other leagues

I've always thought crystal was a league for th8, th9 and new th10's still trying to increase there attack strength. I find masters and champs have plenty of easy loot and a great league bonus to boot. Champs for farming with lavaloonion, surgical loon, and gowipe and masters for barch and gibarch. My th hasn't been in my walls for ages.

In general I believe the higher you climb the better the loot is, but the more advanced and skillful of a player you need to be. After the match making updat I dropped to gold 3 and loot was ok, but not better than champs or masters.

In higher leagues I find there is far less nexting and people jump at snipes instantly. I could wait over an hour or more for a snipe in gold and my th was way off to the side.

I find crystal to be swarming in loot. I don't know why you would want to drop down into silver and gold, but have add it, more loot for me.

For TH10, you experience a serious loot penalty attacking lower THs. It's actually pretty hard to be profitable in lower leagues.

That is why TH10s do best when they move up to masters and champs--because at those levels, loot doesn't matter so much because high league bonuses make things even out. If you want an indication of how fast the loot can be, I'm in champs 2 farming my lava walls and have only 27 legos left. I've only been at this give or take 3-4 months. My army of choice is barch, I don't worry about storages too much, but I'll take them if someone is dumb enough to leave them exposed.

After the matchmaking change, a TH10 will come across more TH10s than <TH8 with a 50+% loot penalty. Loot penalty is zero against other TH10s. He didn't make one mention of raiding lower THs.

I keep hearing this, but honestly after tons and tons of nexting, I only found ONE collector raid in Crystal 3 and 2. How many times do you have to next to find them? Maybe I was just having bad luck? Because I also got raided several times which reduced my elixir profit to ZERO and gold profit to just 1 million. For one day of playing and I played a lot!

That is an interesting point of view. To be honest, the bases in Crystal were worse than the bases in Gold. Honestly, I am not exaggerating. Crystal 3 and 2 were full of rushed TH9 and TH10.

As far as being sniped, I also remember that after the matchmaking update, I had to wait a long time for them. Sometime even 4-6 hours. But trust me, these days even in Silver I get sniped within minutes. I am raking in 400-600k + 2000 DE every attack with 2-3 spells used.

Maybe I just had really bad luck when I was in Crystal? I will try Crystal again and maybe even Master once I get my infernos to lvl 3. I regularly mid-max TH9 in wars when I was a TH9 myself, so skill shouldn't be an issue. At least once I become good at evaluating if I can take a base or not.

In all seriousness OP, C2 is loaded. I almost exclusively barch collectors and I rake in as much as anyone on here boasting about loot.

Good luck on farming wherever you choose, but it really isn't as bad as you're making it out to be

Darn it, with all the responses, it looks like I had really bad luck when I was there

Nice thing about silver is you can go out with a handful of troops and come back with a 150k of each and a win if you so choose. Been down here for a week now and haven't cooked a single spell since getting here.....managed to lazily get the 90k dark I was missing for my king 33 without really trying for it. This is coming from someone who has spent the last year above m3.....nice change of pace to be honest.

This is what my attack log looks like, I'm not sure how many times I next to find a collector raid, I just know I press next almost the entire time.



First attack was my logout army, then I nexted for two snipes



I found a collector raid, continued with a snipe, then I found a collector raid with exposed TH with my tiny army



Found another collector raid with my sniping army, again it has an exposed TH. Followed by a snipe and cup drop because my army has finished training

All in all, I netted >1mil gold and lix + a lucky 15k DE within an hour. The top most raid was another collector raid, but that is more than an hour so I excluded it

Kinda funny how pre update saying that would have been silly in the extreme. If you came down that low you begged to be zapped.
Now post update everyone is saying to "hide" in silver for easy loot. Odd how one update can change things so very much. Seems now with the new update everyone is flocking into the lower leagues where they claim to get good de, but a low bonus and seemingly very little resistance when it comes to being attacked. I have spent most of my gaming career in gold, but still why hide in a low league when the bonus will allow for a a good extra to your attack when you get a win. Especially for a th 10 that should obviously have little trouble winning attacks.

Because the 10s are only there to prey on the fat loaded up 9s that are everywhere down there.
