I like the rushing idea but if you're gonna upgrade anything quickly, make it walls. Skull walls can easily be completed in 15-20 days

I mean... both maxing and rushing are viable strategies, if the rushing is done well. I have a lower th9 I rushed partially for war partially to feed my main hounds and max loons, and I'm happy with the results. Left ATs, cannons, wiz towers, and teslas low for th8, along with walls, didn't finish BK or DE upgrades, but I've got my queen to 7 already, maxing my teslas, don't have xbows, but a full and solid laloon, it's far stronger than it matches in war. Working on getting drills up atm, not doing any defs other than teslas, since the surprise factor of mid th8 defs but full max teslas may have some war advantages.

Stay at th8 and learn GoValo , Holo, Goho, Govaho etc etc. If you're a war focused player max your base completely and stay to master pathing of these troops.

Most of our clan is full of rushers you might know SinofDusk from his threads but getting back into wars and the transition takes forever. If all you want is to get are 40 heroes zaps and quit then sure go right ahead but rushing isn't the right answer to wars unless you're an absolute genius who picks up strats in a second.

How can you say TH8 is boring when you've never been able to do any TH8 attack? And so you haven't come close to mastering attacking at TH8, how will you succeed at TH9 when up until then you haven't been able to do anything but mass dragons?
