Intelligent Rushing? TH8-TH9. Should I?

I am seriously considering rushing TH8. Why? Because of the INSANELY better offense at TH9. I'm planning on getting these TH8 max though: All 4 Barracks, both Dark Barracks, all 3 Air Defences, all 4 Mortars and all 3 wizard towers.

This will take roughly 60 days. In that time I'll upgrade all my troops that I mainly use/need for TH9. Should I go for it?

Also, I want the better offense because I ALWAS DO CLAN WARS!

Or should I not worry about defence and do only army stuff?

Lol. Yesterday you were going to wait 5-6 months. Why not just "intelligently" rush to TH10? All the benefits you outlined above, but stronger troops. And then we don't need to see a litany of should I upgraded my TH? Should I... should I?

I recommend upgrading tesla's or you will spending a long time waiting on 4 of them getting to level 7 when you do get to TH9.

Get all your traps upgraded too!

Lol you basically answered it yourself bro! Do what you think is gonna make coc fun for you.
if your willing to rush your defenses and focus on offense there's nothing wrong with that, just gonna need a little extra work to compensate for the loot penalty (more time looting). I know way many people who did what you did and still managed and ultimately became a maxed out th10 at the end of the day that's where everyone who play is gonna be anyway lol so if i were you do whatever makes you happy!

its like hog deployment whether you deploy em 2 fingers, 10 fingers, 20 fingers with your toe or deploy them surgically or shattered blah blah at the end of the day. They will still go for the same defense and destroy the last defense that the other methods also destroyed! There is gonna be some bombs along the way but that's where we their chiefs use our heal spells and head!

Yup, I'm rushing for sure. TH8 is boring. But offence upgrades and MUCH more attack strategies = fun!
I'll unlock GoWiPe, then make sure wiz are level 5 and make sure my Barb King is lvl 10 then I'll start upgrading

If you take a poll, more people will tell you to max your base. But there are more misinformed people in the world than there are serious players.

I have rushed two accounts and enjoyed both. However, rushing to 9 was more fun than 10. 10 gets monotonous and there are fewer war strategies. Mastering GoLo, GoHo, GoLaLoon, and others at TH9 is a blast.

If you are war focused, I reckon as long as you can get loons to 5, giants to 5 and hogs to 4, then you could quite easily skip ahead to TH9.

Once you hit TH9 you will need to farm a ton of elixir to make it work though and it would be harder if your defences are lower level, but once you get over the mad month at the start of TH9 elixir wise, you should be fine.

ya. make sure to get all your new buildings up to TH7 lvl as well dont forget that.

Don't do all the normal elixer barracks its really a waste of builder time IMO. 1 or at max 2 is enough. Use that time on splash & AD as they will help in war & protecting your loot once you upgrade.

I spent around 30 days at TH8, upgraded all defences to TH7 max & then moved on. Take the shortcut, its worth it.
