Hogs and Bomb Locations

So, i've been wondering about those bases with a huge number of possible double giant bomb spots. You know what i mean, 5-6 or more spots in the base, most hard/impossible to pre-trigger. How can you possibly hog those bases without it being a complete roll of the dice?

I know many consider at TH8 for instance, for hogs, if done right, to be the best 3 star army. But i don't see how this could be the case with that kind of base.

So, hog users, would you hog a base like that? And if you would, how to deal with all the db-gb spots?

In TH8 you can just surgical the base (Tutorials on youtube, i would suggest the video of "KnightlyGaming" How to surgical Hog in th8)
In surgical your Hogs are spread and only a few Hogs will trigger the Bombs and die.
In TH9 you can try your luck, get as many positions as possible with a killsquad(GoHo), and try surgical the rest, or spread your hogs, so that not all hogs will trigger the bombs

Spread hogs in a way that about 6 hogs hit one defence. So in most case one group will go into double giant bombs and others should survive. Been using this on my mini since I got hogs lvl4 and it is doing great

Those are anti-hog bases. They're made to defend hogs. A smart clasher will make his own base and hide bombs where he sees fit. I would put spring traps in the other spots where big bombs aren't.

Hogs are all but unstoppable at TH8, no matter how the person arranges his base.

For war a lot of people copy bases from youtubers. If I see a base that looks familiar I will go on youtube and find that base and see where the bombs and Teslas are since many people do not change there location.

surgical hogs is usually the answer to the "anti 3 star base". onehive has put some videos out on surgical hogs I know.

You can also GoHo, snipe at TH8...
Just try to cover as many DGB spots as possible with Go-team.
May also delay the hogs, or use just some surgicals to support Go...

Many DGB spots may also invite for some other strategy
