I would leave it in see what happens. Some people might screw up and lose their attacks.

My last push I topped out at 3945, had my th out the entire time. My defenses weren't maxed and we didn't have sweepers yet, my walls were 100% legos and still caught snipes for 1 cup 90% of the time. The occasional 5 cup snipe. I read somewhere that right around 4200 is when you should put your th inside, but I cant remember where I read that, and if it's even true.

Yes of course you should leave it out... Champ is the best place to put your TH out as you will get sniped by high level players for 1 tr most of the time. If you keep it in, those same guys will find your base and destroy it completely, even if it's only for 1 tr, as you are probably the first base they have seen after 1 hour of cloud... Only difference is that you will lose most of your loot and will need to reload all traps.

I have been up to 3800 with TH out and was still being sniped for 1 or 2 tr up there.

I can confirm, out until about 4200+ is reasonable. I went 2 weeks with nothing but 1-2 cup snipes from 3700-4200.

Sitting at 4270 now, and I still get snipes 90% of the time, but they are starting to cost more. 4-9 trophies easy. Kind of a toss up at 4200.

Leave your TH on the outside. Make sure to put it to the edge with some decorations around it (to indicate your honesty. No traops, no troll). You will get snipe for -1 trophy 90% of the time. I made my way to Titan by only lose 1 trophy almost every time I log off. Champ II and I are the most convenient range in the entire game because people in Titan will likely find you first and they have no reason to two-star you at all because it's all amount to 1 trophy for them.

Another good thing about TH outside is that you don't have to play in session. You attack once. Train an army for the next attack. Log off. Bam! one star. You are free to do whatever you want until your 12 hour shield is over or you feel like attacking agian.

Most of the time I was even breaking the shield, doing one raid for +15/+20 (becomes +5/+10 max at some point) and then logging off, getting a -1 snipe... Didn't try to get higher because Titan didn't exist yet, and my clan rush was coming to the end, but you can go up quite easily up to 3800 without having to click every 5 minutes to remain connected.

Exactly. I attacked and logged off. Attacked again when ready. Shield was no concern to me since it was almost always a -1. Nowadays you don't even see clouds in 3800 any more (or most of the time). The click every 5 minutes thing starts around 4000, and getting worse at 4200 which is where I'm at. I think this is where TH outside stop being effective so I put up my full defense every time I log off now in hope I might be able to defend some of the attacks.
