Im sitting around 2020 trophies(Crystal III) and Im currently farming to upgrade my teslas. In Gold league I was bringing in decent loot and almost never lost more than 2000 loot per battle. But when I moved up to Crystal III I was ecstatic that I found lots of loot. Then I started getting 2-3 starred and lost one-million loot in 3 attacks. Where is the best league to find lots of loot without getting swept by lvl 100's with low trophies?

At TH8, found Crystal III ok... Crystal II sucks badly. Tried to stay their or move up and gave up, it ws nexting for ages till I found even a half decent base

If you stay in low gold 1 to gold 3, you are more likely to get sniped by trophy pushers trying to get the gems for Crystal League. Don't go past 1900 trophies, unless you can raid in long sessions and expect to be raided more than sniped.
Gold 2/3 is good for gold/elixir and easy bases. Gold 1 tends to have less gold/elixir and more active players that dump their gold/elixir into walls. Gold 1 may have slightly more DE, but there are more preemies and rushed bases in Gold 2/3.
Don't go to Silver, unless you can raid in long sessions. You will find very few snipes, as nobody cares about the loot bonus. You will find more trophy droppers than pushers.

I see crystal 3 or 2 should be OK for TH9 or TH10. I am in crystal 2 and lots of loot.
Crystal 3. You can snipe for a good loot bonus and lots of collector raid loot, especially during the U.S. evening hours.
0-5000 range is good for farming.hope it will help you.
