I upgraded from a maxed th9 with full legos and 12/15 heroes (lab was maxed) in april.
I have 20/20 heroes now and archer towers/cannons (each 2 lvls), teslas (each 1 lvl) and air sweeper (each 2lvl) are left with some traps (all th9 lvl)
So I think I'll be maxed beside walls, lab and heroes in around 1.5 months. Total time of around ~5.5 months

It'll be another 2 years in my estimation for me to max entirely out. I'm th8 now.
Okay, hopefully not 2 years, but it will be a while.

I stayed TH10 for a full year. Still have 25/25 heroes. But I love to war to I'll do them ... one day.
Rushing has no purpose as SC will introduce new stuff quite slowly.
I suggest you slow down and enjoy the game while you are still online often

Well I'm no where near a "Maxed" th10. But i feel I'm close. Need 5 more cannons to max out along with air sweepers. Then I'm done... with defenses...
Walls were not nice to me during th9 and patience was not a virtue for me at the time. Guess when I'm done with the defenses i got to turn all my skull walls to max and turn my 25 heroes to big beefy level 40 heroes.
Going to take me a long time. Hopefully walls will be up to par by end of this year.
i got 6 Cannons and 2 archer towers left to be a maxed defence based not counting my low lvl air sweepers. so im about 1-2 weeks away from maxed. i start an upgrade every 2 days.

I became TH10 at February(?) came from maxed walls and defenses as a TH9 and took me 3.5-4 months to max. Walls took me about 2.5 months (maybe less) and the rest of the time i had to wait for the loooong upgrades with full storages. Now im working on heroes and some buildings/traps that ive kept last.
How long do u play a day.........
Due to the recent update, I am no longer maxed as I still have 1 level of poison(6 days left), 1 level of EQ, and 1 level of haste, but all my defenses, walls and heroes are all maxed so I guess you would consider me maxed. It took a very long time and a TON of grinding.
During that time i was studying at University, being a computer science student requires lots of hours of writing code on PC so i could give myself a break every 20-25 minutes (thats how long my army needed) to search for a base. So lets say i was playing for about 6 hours a day.
