Dude...that's exactly what I'm talking about as is the OP...duh! He is saying that the other team had no troops queued prior to battles starting (near prep day end). What I am saying is that some teams won't que troops until AFTER prep day ends (not during prep day)! Some clans prepare to attack their mirror. If I have all dragons queued on prep day (just before war starts), and the enemy visits my base, they can set up an anti-air base. If you wait to que troops, the enemy clan won't know what base to place. Clans do this all the time.

I'm the leader of my clan, during prep, If I'm going to attack with ground troops, I'll build air troops to throw off our rivals, same when I decide to go air...waste of units but does help sometimes.
