How do you know the troops weren't donated during your attack?

Like others have mentioned.. When you are at this trophy level it is highly unlikely he will logged out without filling his cc.

Also if you read what some other people have experienced, sometimes the wrong troop came out. For me it was the golem instead of hound, another guy have 1 wizard and 4 archers instead of lava and 5 archers.
If you look at the 1st pic I posted, he had 1 wizard and 2 barbs. That is 6 troop space. So if he really did logged out at 6/35, how can he receive another 30 troops space after the attack? The max he can receive is 29.

This glitch has happened to me once too, but not with lava.

How do you know the troops weren't donated during your attack?

While I understand this is definitely possible, I am telling you that in my case, I always note the time I sign on so I know when the boot is coming. I also like to watch the attack via live replay, so I am able to see how I do real time. This has happened to me a few times and I always make sure my CC is filled with the correct troops. I will outline what I do exactly...


As I usually have a golem/win/arch in my cc when pushing, I wait for my 15 minute alarm to go over indicating I am about to be booted.

I then stop searching, check to ensure all my traps are armed and remove the golem from my CC.

Then I put in the request, sign in to the other account on a different device and donate what is needed(usually have multiple golems and a lavahound on hand at all times).

Once I see on my main screen that the lavahound is actually in my clan castle, I check the status of my infernos and xbows(sometimes changing one of them from multi to single, or from air & ground to ground only). This is helpful when the same people find my base and think they know the best way to attack it.

I also may move some traps around.

I verify my heroes are both good to go and sign off and patiently wait for the notification that I am being attacked.

I have seen this strange event happen 3 times now and last night was the last occurrence. Luckily, I was being hit by someone that had no idea how to attack my base and he attacked with 6 golems on the side with the single inferno tower...which decimated 4-5 of them and his level 40 king before getting destroyed. I won with a + 24(PRAISE JESUS) - (41% wipe so I was shielded)

Had he attacked the base properly, he would have 2 starred me as my TH ALMOST went down by his queen but she used one of the jump spells to target some skeletons form a skeleton trap to move south and then re-targeted another building.

To those of you responding that it may be player error and that maybe we did not fill our CC up before getting booted, I assure you...mistakes like that are not made up here. I am 20 cups shy of the top 200 US leaderboard and if I ever made that mistake...I would quit the game.

Any other players with similar experience?

I want to highlight in my screenshots, there was a wizard and 2 barbs (6 space) which came out.
When I visited his village immediately after the attack, there was 30 space in the cc. That is not possible as it will add up to 36/35 which means it is not possible the troops was filled in after/during the attack.

Another weird thing i noticed is that his heroes were awake when I clearly killed both in my attack.
