If you lose an attack because the troops in the enemy CC were 1 lvl higher then you weren't strong enough to beat the base anyway imo

a level 5 wizard does a ton lot more damage than a level 4 one.

The reason you are losing is not because of their clan level. I'm sure it has much more to do with people on your team being stronger defensively than they are offensively. This means they can't pull their weight.

Also, I think you've missed the point chickorita, as long as you have got one th8, they can donate lvl 5 wiz any way.

If OP is in a clan that contains any th10s, and to an extent 9s, then there is no difference.

If it's a th8 at most clan, then yes they might be feeling a slight pinch against lv5 clans.

If you don't want to post anymore because people give throwaway unexplained comments, then don't do the same yourself. Respond to the more thorough ones instead.

Well he really did. Difference in clan level is not why a clan loses one war over another. Lets see if the OP comes back and explains the benefit a lv 4 clan has over a lv 2 clan that would impact the outcome of a war. There isn't any.

Exactly.

Those special benefits your clan gets by gathering experience from wars are the perks of being a higher level clan. Allowing clans to only be matched with other clans of the same level would defeat the whole purpose of perks.

It would be nice if clan perks could help youwin in wars. I am in a level 5 clan in a war with a level 2 clan… they have 4 town hall 10s and we have 2 in the war. We lost the war clan perks did not help.
