    The rest of the sentence didn't need quoting as it didn't qualify your statement. What you wrote was an opinion written as fact, this was my opinion written likewise. Should the queen treat walls as if they weren't there (with the use of a jump spell) my opinion that the queen is much worse would remain.

    It was a bad funnelling job.

    Initial picture shows AQ would be 10 tiles away from gold storage. (1 destroyed wall tile + 3 destroyed cannon tiles + 2 destroyed gold storage tiles + 3 destroyed elixir tiles + 1 for last gold storage).

    She is closer to the DE drill, which was 9 tiles away. (2 destroyed wall tiles + 3 tiles for spell factory + 2 blank tiles + 1 for drill).

    The wizards were destroyed by enemy fire, before they could not take down the drill. You dropped the wizards too early. Wait for the golem to be hit by the cannon, then drop the wizards.

    It would have been easier to clean out the left side with 3 minions, as the cannon and mortar can't hit them and the air defense is just out of range.

    When I first saw the thread title, I was expecting the defending queen getting stuck on the Tesla. It was not fixed in the last update. It messes up base designs, where Teslas are within range of the AQ roaming radius.

    Seems normal - the AQ won't take the jump spell unless she has no other choice. If it means walking more to get to a building, then she will do that. And then wrap around the base.

    Until and unless this is fixed, you have to either create a much wider funnel or stop using golaloon. Go for Goho instead as it will allow you to create wider funnels - lava hounds just take up too much space.

    And because of this, my BK is now the mvp instead of the AQ when it comes to taking down the DE storage. The AQ will first clear out the side buildings before taking the jump spell to get to the DE storage. If the jump spell hasn't expired by then

    However, she is still the one who gets to the last 4 gold/elixir storages provided she takes the jump spell before it expires. She is also much better in Gowipe type attacks where you will automatically create a wide funnel. I am seeing a lot more Gowipe/gowiwi/govalo 3 stars on TH9 now, which is great.

    Summary - If Supercell removes the jump spell allergy of the AQ, she will be much much better.

    My thoughts on the AI

    So from observation of the somewhat erratic queen movements, it seems to be something like this

    1) First off targetting isnt as simple as attack closest building. It seems more to be that the closest building is the one that they can get to with the least amount of travelling. That would explain why the queen hit the cannon after the drill instead of the gold storage. Hitting the storage would require a longer walk back around the half destroyed skull compartment that she was standing in

    2) All units have a 'view' vs attack range. The view range is the limit at which it can 'see' a defence is worth walking to and will determine whether a golem dropped near a cannon outside the walls, will travel to the cannon or just attack the wall closest to the nearest defence inside the walls.

    3) Following on from 2. All units have a threshold level at which attacking a wall to get to their next target is a viable option (I think rage can reduce that threshold and make units more likely to attack a wall rather than walk. Its possible that the threshold is DPS / wall HP based) he new update looks like it actually raised the queens threshold significantly

    4) For most units, the priority order for picking the next target seems to be:
    a) Prefered building it can 'see' and walk to attack
    b) Prefered building behind a wall that can be jumped
    c) Prefered building behind a wall that can be broken

    However for the queen, because she can already get to buildings within 1 layer of walls the priority seems to be
    a) Prefered buildings she can walk to in order to attack
    b) Buildings she cant currently attack behind a wall (At which point she will break a wall or use a jump if available)

    If you want your queen to reliably take a jump spell every time, the funnel has to be so wide (potentially including some buildings inside the first layer) and your queen positioning has to be precise. Its far easier to remove the wall complication by breaking it or using earthquakes so that she always chooses option a)

    Since you only needed to get her into that one pocket, you should have broken that compartment.
    To be honest, the way the queen was positioned, you didnt need a jump spell for your entry anyway. Destroy the cannon and then wallbreakers would have gone to that compartment anyway

    Its nice you had pics but that isn't good enough. Instead of ranting based on how it seemed to you at least make an effort and count the tiles.

    It just seems to me that the storage was closer. I have had other incidents where the Archer Queen has totally ignored a jump spell. It is very frustrating to say the least. It has made AQ/mass healer farming more difficult than before.
