Clan Hoppers and "The Scarlet H"

I'm leader and I understand the issue well. I wish people would quit asking SC to fix problems (which aren't really problems, let's be honest) which don't really exist. This is all about clan management. Hopper accounts are easy to spot. They often have unexpired war timers, low donations for their level, not very many attacks per season, etc. There are tons of red flags. If you really want it not hurting you in war, my advice is to simply war at 45 or 50. The lower guys missing attacks really isn't a big deal in wars. You only have 45 enemies to take down and 90 attacks to do it with.

Never gonna happen. SC has yet to add a single stat that is not a positive about a person No attacks lost vs. won, etc.

Maybe a simpler solution would be to have a stat saying
* total number of war attacks done
* total number of war attacks not used.

Elegant. Only problem here is sometimes we have people who for real life reasons really couldn't attack. We always wait to see what people's reasons are before we boot. I wouldn't like the gal with some mad real life issues to have the additional problem of a permanent mark on her record. And if something really complicated happened to me (hasn't happened yet thank god), I wouldn't constantly want to have to explain away the record next time I was looking for a clan.

Meanwhile all your other common or garden rage quitters and hoppers will be making up bull♥♥♥♥ lies to explain it away, and genuine people will be looking like humbug liars like them.

I also quite like the OP's idea, but that it fades after half a season. We've had people hop/rage quit without attacks, and I think it's pathetic. I have been STEAMING ANGRY with a previous clan, but still had the decency to stay for my attacks, and indeed till the end of the war, before making my exit.

Maybe it's best this just stays as an etiquette thing.

Again, it happens. We had a player who was in a week, left out of a war, put in war, got five stars, promoted to elder, put in next war...and then he hopped! Perhaps you are going to say it's my fault, that I am a poor leader or something, but you are wrong. Perhaps you will question my clans integrity and say we are not as skilled as other clans. You are wrong about that too. What is correct is that many players simply have no honor, no integrity, and no interest in being a respectable player or human being. Is supercell only interested in appeasing those who are at champs level or above? It is time that the 99% of us speak up, organize, and take back our rights as clash players! It is time that hoppers can no longer control our wars, and that hoarders no longer get to keep their precious dark elixir in their invincible shielded storages! We must make our voices heard, and not allow a few YouTube posters with unlimited gem access to keep us under the foot of the bourgeois.
