The Swashbuckler- This pirate is only interested in the loot he can plunder. Armed with a pistol, compass, and a bottle o' rum, your swashbucklers will forever be a threat to your opponents resources. Please bombard Supercell with requests for this new DE troop!

no offence intended but it's not very balanced - i mean i respect your opinions and you have a good style of writing but for every argument you need a balancing argument or it could read a bit like a rant

A balancing argument? I wish Supercell gave me anything to create a balancing argument with. Sure, they made a great game, there is a reason for why this game is so popular. The problems stared to pile up with each update. You are not a noob, you know that battling today requires much less strategy and planning than it did before spells came out. You know that the matchmaking is unbalanced in favor of the offense. You know that there isn't an open line of communication between the developers and the players.
I know you love Supercell and everything about them, but you have to face the facts. High ranked players are leaving the game, not because they got bored or want to move on, but because Supercell has made this game harder to play with each consecutive update.

I just want to know whether I'm allowed to contribute to this thread.
I share a very similar opinion, and the new players just don't realise what the game used to be like, it was fun, alot cheaper, more strategy, the mods even had a presence in the community

Whew thanks Jake.. ;-)
I've only been playing since mid Oct, so I haven't had the chance to reach the end game...where the high-rank(end) reside. As such I haven't had any balancing issues, and thus the game is still highly addictive for me since I started. E.g. - TH9 extra walls and tower have no impact to my TH7.
So really the title should read "The End Game State of Clash of Clans"?
Perhaps you should learn to read between the lines...

So I suspect it's harder for High-End, err I mean High ranked players, not for the average poor joe, like me.
