I'm pretty sure he won a defense... But it doesn't count towards cups for some reason... Maybe I'm drunk...
I think the PB counter doesn't reset until someone logs on, but league does. No idea why though.
It's also fun when you get in a new league through defense, you may lose your badge until you attack or are shielded
This just happened to me.
I was at 4443. Won a def (+29) and Lost the next def (-20)
Winning the def would put me at 4472 which will be my new PB, but apparently profile is not updated.
So my guess is trophies won on def does not count in your sweet victory/all time best record?
