How would you start a Trophy Push?

I haven't really started a thread here in 'General' so bear with me.

I am currently in Silver I and thinking about doing a trophy push as i haven't done one in a while. Would you start a trophy push with full storages? I am planning to do Loonion or Lavaloonion but those armies cost around 150k elixir and you would need a full storages to start a trophy push? What if you run out of your resources during a raid? Do you leave your Town Hall outside during a trophy push?

Thanks for reading and if you could answer my questions then I would really appreciate it. Also if you would like to leave a few tips or advice for a trophy push then that will be appreciated too. Thanks.

Try looking for a Village with their Town Hall outside of their Defenses and use Barcher. Cheap Troop and Quite Fast to Train. Good Luck!

Barching isn't really a reliable strategy for lets say to Masters. I want a reliable strategy that can always get me 2 stars.

Ummmm..... Barch/BAM will see you all the way into crystal for loot, heavy snipes on trapped outside th's and even loot on high bases, right up to 3000. I recently did the champs push for the first time, and with that speed army it took me just 2/3 days to push to champs from gold 3, switching to war armies to go from masters 1 to champs.

And yes, full storages is a must.

Don't use any Loon comp until you hit at least C3 - Barch, Gibarch or just barch until then. Start saving up a bit of loot when you get close to Crystal. By then you'll know if you need heavier comps.

I am currently pushing to champs. I started in silver and kept my townhall out until about 2400 cups or so and then used a cup base and started looning and hounding. Currently at 2900 cups and haven't lost a defense yet outside of a townhall snipe at night so I am at 8/8 currently. Put your townhall inside during the day and before you go to sleep for the night move it out so you can get the cheap shield. You can leave your townhall inside and hope to grab a few more cups, but your cc troops, traps, and bombs will all be destroyed on the first hit and they'll probably star you on the second so just move it outside and then put it back in when you wake up. I am th10 with lavas with max defenses outside of archer towers and cannons.

Any more tips for trophy pushing?

Spend all your loot you have got, so dont get raided.
Make a base with th inside and wait, you will get to ~1500 trophies over night.
Next day start sniping and do some barch or gibarch for 50%
if it gets hard to get the 50% start loonion(only with maxed loons)
try to keep your loot low, so you dont get raided, and you just get attacked by droppers.(or other pushers if you r unlucky)
