After all defensive buildings have been destroyed and hogs are attacked they don't respond until the building the are attacking has been destroyed. That's bull. Once all defensive buildings are destroyed hogs should act like any other troops and once they are attack they should attack back.
I have had times where the king will take out 10 hogs, if not more, while the hogs target a storage.
