Give Leaders / co-leaders ability to change war icon

I really like the in/out war icon, but inactive players don't use it. It would help manage who goes to war if clan leaders and/or co-leaders could change the war icon red after war. It would be really cool if it could be done with one button. Then, clan members would have to change it back green to be included in the next war.

I hope no one has already posted this. I read the list of proposed ideas and didn't see this one.

There already is a button to deal with inactive players. But if you tolerate them then memory will have to serve.

But I actually do like the idea. I prefer that there is a separate leader option status altogether with a text box for reason. For example, leader can opt a person out due to inactivity. Or leader could give objectives to the player if they want to be included such as "increase donations", "upgrade troops", "upgrade defenses", etc... Leader opt outs could be for next war only, until leader changes, or until player changes depending on the reason/severity. Maybe one leader knows a player is unavailable for the next war and is unable to log on to change status. Maybe the default clan punishment for not using a war attack or zero starring is to sit out the next war.

When selecting a war roster it's hard to always remember who you need to exclude and why.

Sure, but I think only leaders should be able to do it.

The idea is really to make the in/out (red or green) war status more useful. We have 40 people in our clan. Its really hard to keep up with who wants to go to war and who doesn't. Some are really good about changing their status, but some aren't.

You can already do this, so I don't see why you'd need another option to get the same results. Also I never liked the idea of the Leader to have such powers of his clan members. Ok, he created the clan, but is the same like every other player so shouldn't have such powers over the others.

We cannot alter other players war setting.
We can only choose who will be in or out of war.
but theese settings will reset if/when we exit the "start war" page.

A very good suggestion would be to have all war settings reset to "I'm out" after every war, or at least have an option to make it reset after war.

Also when a new member joins a clan, default setting should be, "I'm out".
Too many people never touch the war setting and are inactive in war. No matter how many times I ask them to change their war setting, nothing happens. So to make everybodys war setting reset, would help a lot.

Also to be able, as a leader or co-leader, to change other players setting and save it, would help a lot in componing a war crew that is active and will win wars for the clan.

CO-leaders are there to help unload tasks from the leader, so ofcourse they should be able to do this also.
