    Healer Fix

    This issue involves healers becoming attached to a single character or group of characters in battle that are fully healed, while neglecting other troops on the map (that may be as close as just a few tiles) that are quickly losing health. This is an especially frustrating issue given that the characters that often need the health are so close. If you could adjust the Healers' affinity to assist characters in need of health (perhaps this just involves expanding their range of awareness), they could be used much more effectively.

    They changed the healer AI to stick with the same units during the lava hound update in Sept, 2014. Before that it would switch to a different unit if the unit it was healing had full health. I preferred the AI prior to that update.

    But, lets say I am using some minions, or lava hounds, to cover my healers, but then the AQ I was healing gets full health, and travels to my barbarian king. By doing that, the healers leave there cover, and get killed. See the problem?

    Sometimes I'm literally talking myself out of smashing my phone watching my healer heal a couple barbarians while my giants waste away. Gotto be real careful dropping her around damaged troops you don't want healed especially barbs since sometimes she can keep them going for a while forcing you to drop heal spells.

    I've also noticed that they don't target my archers once all other units are gone, WTH is up with that? They ARE "ground" units afterall...

    This is actually something a lot of players deal with. But the reason Healers do this is because of troop placement. I understand people want the Healer to pay attention to dying troops, but if you place the Healer behind certain troops, it's goal will be to keep those troops alive throughout the battle, even though other troops around her are being killed. If the whole group of troops that is was healing are killed, then the Healer will find new units to heal and try to keep them alive. Her AI is set to keep one group alive if you place them close enough to certain troops, not to constantly switch between multiple troops taking damage. This is just something to keep in mind.

    Range is an issue

    I agree the AI is fine, but higher lvl don't use healer now because her short range gets her killed too quickly, or blown away now that sweepers are in game.

    Could there possibly be that once a healer attached itself to a group it will stay with that group(unless it splits) until they die. However if healer is targeting barbs straight away wait until healer is attached to spawn barbs
