Say Goodbye To Splash Damage: New Dark Spell!

STILL IN NEED OF A NAME OPEN FOR IDEAS SOME OPTIONS ARE:
Splitter Spell/ Funnel Spell/ Equalizer Spell

This is a new dark elixir spell which helps weak troops fight against all sorts of splash damage from mortars, wizard towers, and traps!

    How it works:
This spell acts as a ring of safety where any splash damage done in the area is divided equally among all the troops within the ring. So if a mortar has a dps rate of 13 damage per shot of 65 that means if there are 10 archers in the ring all the archers inside that ring will take a total damage of 6.5 from that one shot rather then all of them taking 65 damage and being severely damaged. It works the same way for wizard towers and traps.

    How to use it
This will make the barcher strategy a bit easier since they will have a bit of protection from mortars and wizard towers. When using it against traps however you will need to be very alert to be able to place the spell right before a trap is triggered this will be especially important with hogs against giant bombs and balloons against air bombs. However, the spell has a relatively decent duration so you will be able to able to make predictions to locations of certain traps before detonating them. You can bring this spell with you into gowipe and gowiwi attacks to help your witches, skeletons, and wizards from splash damage. Whenever this spell is used you will want to have as many troops inside the ring as possible so you can get the maximum effect out of this spell. You will typically want to use weaker troops for this spell since tanky troops like giants and golems aren't affected too much by splash damage defenses.

    Keeping it balanced

    • Will have a limit to how much splash damage can be divided
    • Will have a relatively small radius maybe as much as a haste spell
    • Duration about 10-20s
    • Every time this spell is upgraded it will have a larger dividing limit (maybe 5-10 lvl 1 10-15 max)
    • Only works for splash damage defenses and traps nothing else (doesn't include the air sweeper or inferno towers multi target mode)

Please leave some feed back and tell others about this idea!
Another option for a similar spell is to have it funnel the splash damage to a single troop which would also be a cool idea to consider!

    nice

So the damage will be divided among the troops in it? Nice thinking .
This spell can really used in attacking scenarios like raiding !!

The more the merrier : More troops in it's radius will help the shock absorption better i guess !
Maybe you should add an example with a tank troop like Golem ?

    BTW it's a Yes From Me , G'luck!!!
    PokeManiac Is Back!

Thanks for the feedback! However the effect is the same with all troops if two golems are in the ring they will both take the same amount of damage as two archers.

I like this idea, but I don't know anyone who uses spells with Barch attacks. Besides, this spell might be unnecessary since we can just Heal our troops... :l Unique Idea, but we might just not need it.

Lol have you ever tried healing weak troops while they are being hit by splash damage defenses and bombs? It doesnt work that well and they end up being killed despite being healed by a healing spell. Also if you noticed each new spell acts as a counterpart to another spell and this is exactly that a counterpart to the heal spell! Lots of people say they wouldnt use certain spells because they dont seem effective but this would definitely help lots of attackers especially against giant bombs and mortars.

    Thanks for the feedback!

For one, You can definitely heal Barbs if they were hit by a splash damage defense. :l mortars or Wizard towers don't do too much damage to them:/ Maybe archers, but I just think it would be better to heal the troops rather than split damage amongst all the troops within the spell.
About Giant Bombs; Once a troop gets in the trigger radius of a bomb or giant bomb, you have maybe a second to place that spell down, and that could be stupid. Imagine a big group of barbarians entering a Giant Bombs' radius. No time to switch to the spell, because once you tap on the spell, they're dead anyways unless you put it down before the giant bomb is even triggered. We'd have to deploy this spell too early, which would be annoying. This is why no one uses spells with Barch. there are too many troops to try and take care of. Something tells me you use barch attacks for everything, this spell would probably be useless with a lot of other comps. Because splash damage seems to do the most damage on barch. :l Simply just bring heal spells. Radius is bigger, and they're safe from ANY defense. :l That is why this won't work, don't 'lol' me for saying why.
