You had to confirm the name change 3 times, I think that's enough to tell you "this is your only shot". Also letting players choose between them cold cause issues with spying in other clans, since you could switch to the old one, while in the ongoing war you appear with the new one. I'm afraid you will have to live with your current name. However, if your current name is offensive or is your real name, then you can request a name change to the Support of clash, but they won't let you pick your own new one so be careful.
