They will probably port the players games data over to a private server, just for the event.
Its not difficult, iv done it myself for a bit of fun, it gets boring, it's also how you see screen shots of bases with billions of gems and resources in their storages.
Probably a higher level, a higher Townhall, better walls and better heros.
How could this be illegal if the Supercell staff will be on the event? Learn to read man.
curious on how the competition will progress. especially the building your own base part.
