    New Accounts and Stuff

    So
I have received a new device (ios) and wish to transfer my current CoC account to it from my old device (ios). Simple enough.
However, I wish to create a new account on my old device and continue my current account on my new device.
Is this possible, and if so, what's the easiest way to go about it?

Note: It is of paramount importance that my current CoC account is not lost.

Why can't you just start a fresh account on your new device. It is safer, easier and wont cost you any hassle

Easiest way would be to create the new account on your new device - make sure it has a new Gamecentre ID logged in! Play through the new village for a while and after that hey presto you will be able to load whichever base you want on either device simply by logging out gamecentre and logging back in with the other ID.

Because I won't take my old device anywhere with me, so I'd like to have my main account on my current device.

Watch a youtube video about switching accounts first so you don't get freaked out and do something wrong. When you switch it will ask if you want to erase the old village and load the new one and you have to type in CONFIRM.

I'm no expert on these matters but after transferring the account to the new device, create a 2nd game centre account on the old device

No that wont work without first doing a factory reset on the old device first. Easier to just create the new one on the new device and switch them.

Sorry you're right, I didn't explain myself quite nearly enough...

2nd Apple ID on the old device is the way to go. I took over a device from my son which had an early account on it so to establish mine on there I did the above
