Is it necessary to upgrade TH 10 with lvl 30 heroes

Just remember that townhall 10 is balanced around level 40 heroes. So if you make the jump with your heroes less than 20, you go from having a shot to always three star your mirror, to never three starring your mirror for months.

Th9 better for gold and elixir. Focus your farming on this to complete these upgrades at th9. DE should just be a bonus. Once at th10, de becomes easier and you can upgrade your heroes faster then a and walls will become last priority.
Overall this is the fastest way to upgrade everything because you get the most loot focusing on your strengths.

It doesn't matter too much what level your heroes are when you upgrade because you will be upgrading them so much anyway. So if you go to th10 with level 20 heroes earlier, you will get them to 30 faster than trying to get them to 30 as th9.

What league are you farming, which army composition, what is your profit per hour and how does the MM change make it better? Did you make any changes from what you used in th9?

I'm genuinely interested as a th9 currently doing lavas and everyone else says th9 is better for g/x.

For clan matchup purposes, if you want to be effective against mid to high level TH10s, you need lvl 20 heroes at least. I'd say that once you get lvl 20 heroes, go ahead and upgrade. DE comes much easier at TH10 as well as other resources if you can push into champs. That bonus really helps.

I'm using 12 giants, 8 wb, 112 arch, 28 gob, 10 min (all TH9 maxed), farming in C1 (<2400 cups). Army trains in ~12-18min per collector raid, using lvl 25 queen to clutch 50% all the time (she is boosted always).

I start nexting as soon as I have arch, gobs and mins trained, taking snipes and easy collectors as they come, I dont mind losing 50% this way. I farm 1.1-1.4mil per hr each and 3-7k DE, compared to TH9 where I farmed 800k-1.2mil each per hr and 1-3k DE.

I see far less TH8s and much more snipes, usually 5-10+ snipes per hr easily, contributing greatly to my loot per hr. My TH9 clan mates do not find that many snipes, and very few collectors compared to me, strangely. I think this is because I'm more frequently matched against TH10s with TH outside or collectors (7 collectors makes any raid worth more than 300k without bonus). I swapped barbs for goblins in TH10 (used to have barbs instead of 28 goblins), along with a decent queen and 240 space, it makes it ridiculously easy to get 50% when I have my full army. My TH9 peers cannot consistently 50% a decent TH9/10 because they simply do not have enough troops to do so. I expect to farm even faster when I get lvl 7 troops

The main thing holding me back now it's that if i upgrade walls will be my last priority and i would like a decent number of lavas as deterrent. I'm not active enough to farm walls and all the new defences at th10 at the same time.

If you want to be an asset in war max them, if you want to be a farmer go to th10 and farm them. I went with full lava walls and lever 20 heroes. Felt rushed and useless in war for a month until freeze was ug.
