i was scared to attack for the first time, because i thought if someone destroyed my village i would have to start over haha

On the first few hours of game play I tough wow those walls are expensive I wonder if it worth it lvl 1 and 2 wall expensive muhahahahaha.

It took me a long time before I finally tried attacking a real base. I thought we were supposed to farm the single player campaign but I was losing so much elixir on my army with no profit. My friends did a bad job explaining to me the game.

Spending all your initial gems to build up your base as fast as possible.

Spending all the gems it tells you to spend in the tutorial whenever you built something, instead of just waiting a minute.

I didn't build walls for a long time because I thought people couldn't attack me. I once thought farming with all giants was good. Then finally I farmed all my level 7 walls with dragons, so every hour and a half, I get 1 wall. Rip

I thought shrubs were defences..

Thought weakening a defense (like a mortar) with lightning, would at least reduce the amount of damage it could do, even though it was still standing.
