I disagree with this guide. Having level 5 walls and mid th7 or under defenses at th9 or th10 are premature bases. I think there called premmies. Do those type of bases aren't really rushing. Also not all rushing is bad if your active and don't over do it.

I rushed to th9 and subsequently th10, I have found no ill effects of rushing so far. Loot gets better at th10, I'm actually farming g/e at 30% faster than th9 and de twice as fast. Furthermore, infernos protect me better than everything a person would have in th9. And due to my rushing, i have far superior heroes and walls compared to a player with the exact same playing time.
Don't worry about rushers they will quit soon or make another account and rush again LOLs.
I'm not saying all rushed bases are bad. This is only a guide on the consequences of rushing your base. I, for one, have a semi-rushed TH6.5 right now for the purpose of killing it in clan wars (and it's working). I get paired with mostly TH6s and use my level 2 dragons to absolutely destroy them. My first account, however, is a near-max TH9. The thing about rushing is that most players don't exactly know what they're doing when they do rush, and it isn't strategic. Strategic rushing (such as my second account), is great. But in my 2 year experience playing the game, most rushed players were really on a downhill slope from the point they started rushing. Like they would only upgrade a few defenses and never bothered to upgrade troops as much because they took too long. Those are the types of rushed bases that can really kill the game for any given player... and it's a hard road coming back if you aren't spending tons of money. That's all Jeremy is trying to say when he wrote this guide.
