Been barching in Gold 2 and 3 for the last couple weeks, making good loot most daysI run 1 barracks with barbs and 3 with archers but 2 and 2 works just as well if you're not into pink hair.
Try c2-m2. I'm pushing right now as th9 but I have found tons of dead th9 and 10 bases in this range.

Hmm, I'm having the same problem as the OP. I can't seem to build a comp at the right trophy range to profit off my attacks. I'm new to TH10 after completely maxing th9. I've been 10 for about 12d and nothing seems to work.
gold II and gold I is where I used to farm, I've been in crystal 2 lately and still struggling to profit. I guess I'll try gold III with barch.
Would've been nice if they increased the loot bonus at higher leagues to make up for higher cost of barbs & archers. That cost increase hurt more than barch comps.

Went to TH10 on June 6th and have been doing quite well in G2 and G1. The problem is the last two days have been really bad for loot but other than that, I am making out. Not as good as when I was a TH9 but not bad. Getting the barbs and archers to 7 helped quite a bit.
I use 112 barbs, 112 archers and 8 wbs. BK30 and AQ35 helps. Also I only use heal. 5x heal and one poison. On a normal raid I won't use any spells as I mainly target abandoned bases but for massive loot core raids I will use 1 or 2.

The best option as a new th 10 would be to farm the loot bonus in even as low as master, or use it to your advantage in crystal. Lower your loot standard in those leagues because you will get that extra 35-120k of each to add to your total.

I use giant healer to farm and I target th9 bases my army composition is 18 giants 110 archers 2 healers 6 wall breakers spells 3 heal 2 rage it wrecks any th9 I farm in crystal 2 decent loot nice amount of inactives and 50k bonus for every town hall snipe
I've been in C3 barching. BAM is also very good here, you're able to profit DE fairly easy if you want too. After a few days I've gotten quite a few L11 walls and am sitting around 180k de with having a poison spell in the lab going to L2.Just need my builders to finish up to toss my queen to sleep again...
