Title says it all. We've all had that one moment when we are saving up tons upon tons of loot for an upgrade, only to lose 300-400k in one raid. Share your stories!
My worst one (so far) is when I was saving up for PEKKAS lvl 3 and keep losing 300k every other day, prolonging the farming session for an extra week.

Nope that's not true, he stole 300K gold and 300 K elixir, the cap is 100,000 per storage and my storages were almost full, so it is possible.
I personally lost all fear of loosing loot.
I mean, the game pretends that getting attacked is a bad thing, something to avoid, "Oh no! your village was attacked!". LOL. All theatrics.
Shield system and upgraded mines/collectors mean that any losses are almost completely compensated. Get attacked, ride shield, empty collectors, back where you started.

You can steal up to 600k combined loot from TH 8 and 2k de... Dunno where you got your info from. Don't be sarcastic before you do your research please.
Including mines, collectors and pumps these amounts can get VERY high!

If you have loot of all 3 resources then you just asking to be attacked. My biggest loss is probably around max de (2500) and max gold (around 300,000). Th9 picking on a th8
However a TH9 on a TH8 gets a 10% loot penalty so that the maximum he can take is 270k each from gold and elixir storages and 1.8k from the DE storage.
Edit: Sorry @mattyboo1 but if you are holding that much loot and I see you on my revenge list I would also crush you for all your resources even if you were kind enough to give me a free shield.
